Friendship between the opposite sex

I think the significance of this old movie is that it used "is there a real friendship between the opposite sex" as a topic for discussion a long time ago. The acquaintance between Harry and Sally was short and unpleasant many years ago. After that, the two of them both had scars in their hearts, and the relationship between them was less harsh in their youth, and more sympathy for the experience of the world.
At the end of the movie, the director brought these two people together. In fact, in my opinion, whether they are together or living with others, there is no difference, because there is a real feeling between each other, and this feeling is irrelevant. Gender is just the kind of true feelings that exist between two real people. They understand each other, care for each other, and tolerate each other. I don’t want to use love or friendship to characterize it. I just want to call it "feeling". Family love is more profound than friendship, and more tolerant than love.
