The sequel to the witch hunter

I watched this film twice, once in 2D HD and once in 3D Full HD. Although, after reading everyone's comments, the reputation was mixed. But I personally think that for this type of film, there is no need to study the story of the gods and horses, just look at the effect. And I strongly recommend the 3D version, the layering of the weird forest, the bullet time of the crossbow and the shotgun, the bloody energy of the witch being beheaded or broken, only 3D can show that kind of visual impact.
I don't want to comment too much on the feature film or spoiler here.
Just want to talk about the sequel of this play.
Friends who have watched it will surely agree that the foreshadowing or digging of the screenwriter and director at the end of the film is obviously planning to make a sequel.
After the black witch was beheaded, Grete picked up her wand, and the red stone in the center resonated with Grete and glowed red. This is the most obvious foreshadowing.
Secondly, when Gretel is about to be raped by the sheriff, Edward, the troll, rescues the sheriff and the gang. It was cut (the sheriff killed the mayor and some swear words were cut for a total of 10 minutes before and after)). When Grete asked Edward why he wanted to save himself, Edward said: The troll serves the witch . That is to say, Grete not only inherited the blood of the White Witch, but also inherited the power that the trolls can sense, so Grete is a witch.
The successor of the White Witch has accepted the Black Witch's wand, which is obviously an excellent setting to continue to blacken this fairy tale.
However, Gretel is not the only one with the potential for blackening. You know, Mina the White Witch took out her magic wand to confront the Black Witch before she died. Although the final skill was not as good as humans, it was lost in combat experience. We can see that the power of the White Witch is also quite powerful.
So after Mina's death, who would accept her white wand, obviously it should be Hansel who had sparked with Mina.
Although Hansel is a male, it is impossible to become a witch, but in blood he also inherited the power of the white witch mother.
Here everyone might as well go back to the original work. The brothers and sisters fell into the candy house together. The old witch forced Grete to work in the stove and Hansel to eat sweets into the oven. Here we might as well ask, why did the old witch eat Hansel, and why did he feed Hansel a lot of sugar?
The witch eats children, of course, not only to satisfy the appetite, but also to pursue a stronger power, and Hansel's body contains even more powerful power. The witch's candy can be understood as a magic potion to better absorb this power.
The film reveals that Hansel suffered from diabetes due to eating too much sugar as a child. This is a scientific statement. Using the concept of witchcraft, it can be understood that the power of the black witch is difficult to match with the blood of the white witch. Rong, always tortured Hansel.
Mina accompanies Hansel to buy pumpkins. Hansel becomes ill. Mina says she has a way. Of course, her method will not be a scientific method. (Hansel's insulin injection is a medical cure for the symptoms but not the root cause.) Mina is a white witch, so her method is naturally a witch’s method, but Hansel doesn’t know Mina. All he refused. Here you can boldly guess that Mina's method is to integrate the power of the black witch into Hansel's body and give him more powerful power.
Therefore, Hansel also has the potential for blackening.

So who did the siblings blacken? Both are blackened, and this sequel can't be filmed. A blackening, a redemption, a brother-sister war, is the way out for the sequel.

Don’t forget here, at the end of the film, the witch hunter team expanded from two siblings to three +1 trolls.

If I want to talk about these two roles, there must be a scene in the sequel.
After Troll Edward rescued Gretel, he fell off the cliff by the black witch and died, but was rescued by Gretel using electric shock therapy. However, in the subsequent battle, he did not come to help, (otherwise, I think Mina might not die.) But there is also a rationality in the setting here, because the trolls serve witches, so naturally the trolls can't get involved in the war between witches, otherwise, who would he help.
So why do you want to rescue Edward back in the plot? For the sequel.

And another little attendant, Benjamin Watser, please note that he has a first name and a last name. Usually in a movie where the story is to be told within an hour or two, the dragon set does not have a name, and it is good for an ordinary supporting role to have a name, and it is definitely not an ordinary role to have a name and a surname.

So in the sequel, it is conceivable that the blackening is more inclined to Gretel, because the troll Edward is committed to the ground and can follow the blackening of Gretel and become a small BOSS.

On the other hand, Benjamin, although he has a little fascination with Gretel, he admires Hansel more in his heart, hoping to become the same hero as him, and this butter niche is obviously difficult to blacken, he is more suitable to be embarked on salvation The hero of the road, Hansel's assistant.

Here I boldly guess that the main line of the sequel will be that Gretel fell into the darkness under the erosion of the black witch’s wand, beat Hansel half to death, and embarked on the black witch’s no return.
At the juncture of life and death, Hansel penetrated the true meaning of power, combined the magic of the black witch in his body and the power of the white wand in his hand, and embarked on the road of redemption, vowing to save Gretel.
On this path, Gretel, accompanied by the troll, summoned a more powerful dark power.
Hansel developed more powerful weapons with the help of Benjamin, and combined the power of technology and magic.
Brother and sister fight, the sky is dark and dark.

However, the ending of the sequel must be that Hansel rescued Gretel and returned to the right path.

So the sequel still needs a BOSS, here can be a little bit bloody, set as the aunt of the brothers and sisters, the sister of the white witch.
When BOSS was young, he admired the amount of his sister, the White Witch King, and was ashamed of it. But my sister married a farmer, so her heart was twisted and turned into black. After cultivating in the Black Forest for decades, after she practiced a big move, she learned that her sister and brother-in-law had been burned to death by humans, so it was only natural to seek revenge from humans. .

The BOSS was doing evil and killing innocent people indiscriminately, and naturally recruited witch hunters. As a result, Hansel and Gretel sensed the power of the sister.
So a more vicious revenge plan sprouted, tempting Grete to fall into the dark, and training the former human hope witch hunter into the most powerful and evil great witch proficient in black and white magic, bringing unimaginable horror and darkness to mankind.
On the other side, Hansel has Benjamin to help upgrade his firepower equipment. Who will guide him to penetrate the power of the witch? The perfect candidate here is Mina, yes, Mina who is dead in the first film. Such a beauty is showing up in the first part (this segment was not cut off in the public release, and the thinking of the US film review agency is difficult to understand) It is a pity that it will not appear in the sequel.
Mina, who is lodged in the white magic wand in the form of soul, and the love between humans and ghosts separated from Hansel's yin and yang, is tragic and moving. Isn't it better than the first simple and rude hot spring intercourse? !

Finally, finally, the climax of the film returns to its roots, and Gretel, who was woken up, once again joined forces with Hansel, black and white magic + reloaded firepower, a violent fight, and annihilated the BOSS! ! !

Scum~~ It's more disgusting than the modern Little Red Riding Hood~ The witch can parkour and manipulate the rhythm of animals! I watched this lousy movie for a whole day and I fell asleep after watching it. ~The electric shocker is so funny~ It's actually a manual generator~~

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters quotes

  • [From Trailer]

Hansel: Me and my sister... we have a past. We almost died at the hands of a witch. But that past made us stronger. We'd gotten a taste of blood. Witch blood. And we haven't stopped since.

  • Gretel: The Curse of Hunger for Crawling Things. I fucking hate that one.
