After watching the first season of Descendants of the Vampire, the overall feeling is not bad.
The story is probably about the experiences of the new generation of vampires, werewolves, twin witches, and three hybrids. Introduced new supernatural creatures, enlarged the whole supernatural world pattern, and launched a new story branch. Surrounded by unknown and extraordinary foreign objects, there is also a friend who is both an enemy and a friend.
The new drama can already be regarded as a brand new story, although there is a part of inheriting the diary, but the impact of the plot is not limited to the diary.
The impressive point is that the main characters in the play are all on the way to find their own meaning, or in other words, they are all trying to prove themselves. Perhaps it is because the new generation is confused about their own positioning and the meaning of existence, resulting in different performances.
There are also many lines, which directly reflect the character of the character and give the audience a space for thought. I would think that's a very important point of the show that fascinates me. Maybe it's because I'm similar in age to the protagonists in the play, and even though the things we've encountered are not the same, but facing difficult situations can resonate well with me.
In addition, the elaboration of human nature, strength, desire, etc. in the play makes the play more full-fledged.
All in all, The Vampire Diaries is worth watching.
