Remembrance is the "Rurouni Kenshin" in my heart

In fact, I have watched the tv version before watching "Memories". Although I feel pretty good about TV, I think the TV version is too commercialized, it's just a normal series.
Because "Remembrance" is an ova, it basically strives for excellence. Whether it is the picture, music, and plot, it has reached a height that the TV version cannot reach.
I remember the first time I watched "Memories" when my classmates borrowed my vcd, and there was only the first episode at that time. When I saw the end of the first episode, Ba said to Kenshin in a half-drunk and half-awake state: "You can really bring about a bloodbath!" The scene made my heart tremble deeply. With the soundtrack that reached its climax, his thoughts also fell into a daze like the hero's. That afternoon, I went on to watch the first episode twice. I've been completely blown away by this animation.
After a long wait, I finally read all four ova. After watching it, I have a long-lost feeling, and that feeling goes back to when I watched "Princess Mononoke".
In the chaotic world at the end of the curtain, people who lost their happiness because of war, people who became murderers for justice. . . The fate of two people in the bloody era was quietly tied together.
The Kenshin in "Memories" is the Kenshin in my mind. There are many plots in ova that describe Kenshin's psychological changes. Although he is cold in appearance, he has always had a pure heart. It was the times that gave him a contradictory way of living. And Shedaba is the eternal wound in his heart - a woman he really loved and hurt. And then Kaoru is just a spiritual harbor for Kenshin. Everything really portrays the executioner of the turbulent era that Kazuyuki said.
The real Rurouni Kenshin, the real Bakumatsu legend and romance. Only "Memories" did it.
