Or Meg Ryan. This time, it's about love.
She is the second daughter of the family, her older sister, a well-known publisher, and her younger sister, a young actress who hopes to be famous for her soap operas. She is the only one living a normal life, with a husband, a son, and, of course, a father with Alzheimer's who still needs to be cared for in a nursing home.

She does love her father. Because, a mother who likes to live alone in her bones, when her daughter was born, said that she would throw her away. But her father gave her the warmest hug.
At the end, the three daughters returned to their father's bed together. The old man died, and they finally understood each other.
Stories like this are everywhere. Lonely old people, busy middle-aged people, children in need of care, one generation, another generation...

Nora Ephron's imprint is too heavy, even if she is just the screenwriter of the film, the story is not brilliant, but the light and soundtrack still package the film beautifully. The performances of the three heroines are not very strong, Meg Ryan continues to be sweet sister, Lisa Kudrow continues to be Phoebe, and Diana Keaton is completely soy sauce, the overall mediocre. But personally I really like this kind of warm style of family sketches.

Regarding family affection and love, we may always miss more than we cherish.
