I think my courage to fight against loneliness and terror is very powerful. Today, I watched the horror movie I was addicted to in front of the computer screen again. Perhaps it is because of the lethality of Japanese horror movies, such as "Midnight Bell" and "The Grudge", that the horror of European and American horror movies is relatively softer. A "Mystery Cave" opened up another horror adventure for me: caves have always been mysterious things, whether it is the people who walked out of the cave recorded in the philosopher Pla's book, or the allegory of the cave designed by Fuller, or " The dream cave in Alice in Wonderland, which is endowed with a mysterious coat, arouses the fantasy and curiosity of countless people.
The plot of "Mysterious Cave" is actually very simple. There is no complicated murder case, no mourning souls, and no devilish Satan. The horror of this cave comes from everyone's heart: the heroine's childhood companion who fell off the tower, the little boy's frightened doll, the hero's childhood horror memories of being abused by his father, and a neglected character is the old man, He was actually afraid of the dark. Perhaps the director of the film is also an adult deeply affected by the shadow of childhood. Every normal grown adult, even a man with a strong appearance, has suffered various childhood shadows to a greater or lesser extent. How to let go of this shadow is indeed a difficult question, do we allow it to continue, wear it away through time, or seal it in a cave that will never be opened? Instead, the film's advice is to stand up to your own terror until it's overwhelmed, or it will emerge from a cave that has been opened again. Watching the movie to the end, you are more likely to think that it is no longer a horror movie, but an inspirational story, based on the childhood stories of several young people. Several details in the film are in place, especially the terrifying performance of the little boy and the astute reaction of the yellow-haired dog.
