I'm a skeptic, and while watching the film, I keep thinking, are these professionals correct? Are the economics, biology, sociology, automation, ethology, and the social system in which we live in front of us really what they describe? Is this the imagination of socialists in Western society? What finally made me wonder is why such a theory so highly similar to socialism has not appeared in China? So what kind of system do we live in?
After watching two films in a row, you will find out soberly, that's right! We are indeed living within such a systemic machine! I am experiencing it myself every day, and I am joining and maintaining this system all the time. In the gold-standard social system, what I can smell is the impetuous atmosphere of the society. The country blindly pursues GDP, the company blindly pursues sales, and the individual blindly pursues private interests. Behind this agitation is a competition for resources and geopolitical division. A rise in GDP seems to mean that we are living a good life, is that the case? For example, in the United States, medical care accounts for the vast majority of DGP, what does this mean? It means that there are more and more patients and their illnesses are getting worse. In order to pursue high sales, doctors will tend to prescribe more expensive medicines to patients. Developers have raised housing prices, and salt merchants have begun to hoard salt to drive up prices. On the surface, GDP is soaring, but we are still tired of life. What do we get? Like a flock of thirsty chicks, planning for themselves a piece of cake that they will never eat.
Looking back on life, today's life is essentially the same as in the past, we still live in a cramped room, and the income seems to have increased, but compared with the high prices of food, medical care, and housing, it is indeed negligible. The existing social system cannot resolve these contradictions. The unequal social system creates classes, and the upper class and the lower class become two sides of the conflict, because resources are limited and human desires are unlimited. Newton once said: "I can calculate the movement of the celestial bodies, but I can't speculate on the madness of human beings." Human beings can only be destroyed and reborn in endless battles.
In recent years, the United States has used the same methods, such as the wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya, destroying the country through war, then rebuilding society, selling weapons in the war, and giving the defeated country a lot of funds in the reconstruction, making it heavily in debt. In the end, the labor force was enslaved by debt and became its own dependent country. It is essentially an economic war, plundering resources to a greater extent.
But the sad thing is that people are starting to realize this. The next morning, they put on their pants, pooped, and went back to their lives. So what? It's still a job like a cow, running around for food, clothing, housing, and transportation. But in fact, social change is the general trend. Some understandings of society seem to be out of place, but the people are being enlightened. As long as the pace does not stop and continues to move forward, one day we will transition to a desired society. From republic to monarchy.
