Everyone has fear

Everyone has their own fears in their hearts.
I'm glad that the director didn't pull monsters or anything more bloody into this film. Fear is never propped up by bloody things, it comes from people's hearts.
In fact, if the film is narrated separately, the effect is far less than this arrangement. Everyone has the urge to explore the mystery, and there is an unparalleled pleasure in exploring the unknown. This is the idea, and the ingenious idea is never obtained by reversing the plot and fooling the audience. That is an ability.
Life may not be as glamorous as it seems. Everyone who seems to be happy has their own weaknesses.
Dane, a teenager in a rebellious era. When you are young, you also get the safety of hiding yourself in the closet when you are afraid. The small peep-in visual space seemed safe. When he woke up from the nightmare, he was curled up in the quilt but had to lift the quilt and stare at the darkness outside. In fact, it is a kind of self-deception. The seemingly powerful surface of human beings is actually wrapped in pitiful inferiority.
Like Freudian psychoanalysis, caves give us the power to confront the source of our fears, stemming from childhood stories. The inner conflict does not dissipate, it is just suppressed. We run away from a toy, an image, or just darkness, and we run away from ourselves. Unexperienced things are always full of unknowns. Unknown is a kind of fear, because there are too many choices for us to sway, walk past, and calm down, only to find out that things are so simple. Everything that was once considered insurmountable suddenly became so insignificant.
Maybe it was an epiphany, maybe it was growth, maybe it was a setback in adaptation. Because we are no longer sensitive.
Faith, have to talk about this. Because a person's philosophy determines what he is afraid of and what he is afraid of. If you regard goodness as faith, then you will repent alone for your sins; if you regard money as faith, then you will be devastated by the acquisition of money; If happiness and happiness are beliefs, then you don’t actually have any beliefs. This is a time of lack of faith. In this film, apart from the special effects of the movie or the deliberately created horror, think about it, there is nothing to fear for modern people.
You will not be afraid of a toy in your childhood, because you gradually find that the naivety that life forces you to have nowhere to be found, so having a young adult is actually a kind of pressure, the pressure of survival.
You will not be afraid of the scolding of your parents when you were a child. Because of the gradual society, you will find that scolding or even beating for no reason is not as shocking as social flattery or intrigue, and close people can be instantly because of a certain material. Interest becomes a stranger.
You will not feel guilty for the death of your childhood playmate, because in this era, you can erase the names of the dead in order to escape responsibility, and you can erase or even trample the lives of ordinary people because of the powerful. At least you have remorse, but this is a time of lack of guilt and remorse.
We are no longer afraid, or numb to fear. Blindly following the film's stunts and screaming in fear are so pale, but there is nothing urgent to say that scares me to death. Do you understand, or forget it later.
I can't imagine what the future will be like.
At least I used to think that transcending fear was an epiphany, but now there is no epiphany, and everyone is self-taught. No longer afraid is actually more terrible!

The horror is enough, and the ending is a bit thunderous. The male protagonist is super handsome~

The Hole quotes

  • Dane: Who the hell is that? She one of your little friends?

Lucas: I don't have any friends.

  • Julie: I know what you've got. You've got a gateway to hell under your house. And that is really cool.
