The big problem with the Yongle machine.

First of all, the rating of this film is only about 6+, I am very dissatisfied.

The criticism is nothing more than focusing on the fact that after studying high school physics, I feel that the science fiction of this film is not even as good as high school physics. ...

Is the director going to discuss sci-fi with us? Earth's future? Humanity's future? The development of technology? What are you all spraying... The director's theme is very clear, that is, to discuss the classic problem in "The Big Question", if there is one that can make you always reach the happiest state you have ever felt, and stay in it you are completely There is no need to consider the issue of survival - that is, until old age and death, are you willing to choose this Yongle machine?

By the way, I think the deduction can be focused on the thriller atmosphere created in the first half of the film. After all, the topic is there, we are discussing philosophical issues!

Although I despise the will, I have to say that I have already thought about Schopenhauer's philosophy. As long as you live, you can never escape the torture of pain and boredom. And boredom is really a very clever invention - the crossing between nothing and something. The intense feelings, polarized, formed great joy and great sadness. Great joy is what the people want, but great compassion is also thorough, and it often gives people a hearty feeling afterward. But the zero in the middle of the two poles is also a different picture. The dualism here is untenable, and I believe there must be some people who agree that the power of this zero far outweighs the impact of the poles.

If you were given a choice, 90% of people would choose to go in and survive. The embodiment in the film is to simulate life. But the simulation in this film can be said to have loopholes. What is happiness? What is eternal happiness? Schopenhauer predicted that heaven is a place of boredom to death. Because there is no pain, only happiness, you can have whatever you want, your purpose is always filled, and your emotions and anger will have no tension at all, and you will have no feeling at all. Human feeling is actually the same, whether it is physical or emotional, what we feel is change, not a state. Because we live under the laws of time and space, and time and space exist solely for the concept of "change". We simply cannot imagine a different world. And when we don't experience change, we're enveloped in blankness, like ants that have lost their tentacles, we're blank, we're restless, we're crazy.

So a Yongle world is essentially a boring world. But Ah Qs won't admit this, so let's put it aside for now and talk about the failure of the film simulation. The simulated world of the film can communicate with the real world. As a result, the joys, sorrows and sorrows of the real world will inevitably be brought into that world. So that world is not a world of eternal joy, and that world is just like ours, with joys, sorrows and sorrows, the big deal is that the living conditions are better. In other words, it exists to give hope to people in the real world, to stimulate the purpose of human beings, and to do something. That being said, this may not be a bug. But paradoxically, the last two friends would rather run to the virtual Rhea. This is quite a headache to explain.

Or we can just call it Ah Q's reappearance. Jumping from a harsh reality to a better virtual world does create the illusion of happiness because of the change. But after the happiness fades, everything is actually the same as the original life. You will still meet the cycle of joy, anger, sorrow and joy, and pain and boredom are still the theme songs of life after all. How will Ah Qs be deceived when the time comes? It's very simple, just look at how the Ah Qs survive today.

You will be slaughtered tomorrow, and you must eat well today, forget the fact that you will be slaughtered tomorrow, and immerse yourself in the joy of eating well today. I always feel that when reality comes, no matter how short it is, even if it is the last second before death, the pain they endure is absolutely unparalleled. Because reality is reality, no matter how you escape, you still have to face it—death.

What is the meaning of life? It doesn't make sense at all from an individual perspective. At least I don't see the point. Schopenhauer's theory of will is to escape from the micro and directly lead to the macro. The individual is the phenomenon of the will, that is, the representation. But it itself has a will in it, but you are only embodying the will, not knowing the will. At the end of the day, you can't be called an independent you. Because there is will in your body, it does not belong to you, you belong to it. And your upper body thinking is called cognition, which belongs to you, and you rely on your intellectual scope to understand the macro. And your lower body thinking is called the affirmation of the will to life, which is subordinate to the will, and is the most direct control of the will of life over you, because racial reproduction is the game played by the will. And the endless existence of life is the embodiment of the will beyond time and space. Death is the death of the individual but not the death of the will.

Schopenhauer had a lot of fun with this set, and I guess he felt like he was speaking for the will when he wrote this. But what is the salvation for the individual? There is no redemption. Even if you rely on art to escape the "will" for a while, the essence of the world, the essence of life, you can't escape the immediate pain and boredom.

I don't mess with Buddhism, but my uncle's Indian philosophy has something to learn from it. When everything is empty, people will be calm, that is, get rid of purpose, see through the happiness brought by purpose will eventually be weighed by pain, so do not pursue it, the short-term happiness is gone, but the intense and lasting pain No more. To quit drinking and lust is to abolish the thinking function of the lower body, in other words, to drive out the will of life from the body. How can you deal with boredom when you finally get rid of the damn will, and no longer experience the old ways set by the will?

I don't know how Buddhism comes to discuss ways to combat boredom. In my opinion their life is just boring. You recite the scriptures over and over again, and everything is empty. How do you deal with your individuality in your life? Unless you can kill your own will and be a puppet.

Very pessimistic and inexplicable.

But why did I choose "no" when faced with this question in the first place?

First of all I recognize that happiness is always short-lived. But this has nothing to do with the question, because the question provides eternal happiness. The factor to consider is that you don't want pain and boredom in your life. And from what I've done, I also like pain -- I've always defined myself as a bipolar disorder -- which, at a high enough level, inspires a sense of presence. And boredom is the enemy I can't conquer, or I can't enjoy it and fall in love with it temporarily.

So the idolization of Ah Q is, in the final analysis, another way to escape the will. When encountering pain, use your imagination to build more pain - interestingly, it's much easier to be happier than imagination, so as to prove that pain is the truth - so that you can rely on comparison to make yourself feel that your state is actually happiness . The principle is the same as killing to make oneself happy. I felt pain when I was punched, so I cut myself again, and found that being punched didn't hurt at all, and there was a little aftertaste. In the face of the truth, it also depends on the individual's ability to accept. The individual's cognitive ability depends on the upper body. Ah Q's fault is in the upper body, while the wise man's fault is in the lower body.

Reject DOUBLE THINK, intelligence is an endowment.

Happy people, you are idiots.

In fact, I love the setting of the earth's extinction and human wandering, because this is the inevitable result of the species. There is no evolution without demise. The color and atmosphere of the whole film are desperate, but even at the end of the world, there will be people who are not willing to be paralyzed, and there will be love that can be sacrificed. Leaving a glimmer of hope for the sun that cannot appear is also the goal of living. German films are traditionally obscure and long. Compared with the blockbuster movies in the United States, it is much better.

The first half is really good. It is a poem and painting achieved by details. It is cold and profound, and it fully expresses the fear of loneliness, the unknown, and the sense of space in the human heart. It is comparable to the old library. matrix+cube+Moon+No one survived
