As a teacher of an aristocratic school, William taught the history of ancient Rome. In a certain class of students, he saw a troublemaker named Bell. In order to allow Bell to participate in the Caesar Quiz Contest, William became selfish, and Bell cheated to get it. After the second, the two parted ways. Bell relied on his father to enter Yale as a state congressman. Years later, the class reunion simulated the Caesars Quiz Contest. Bell cheated again, and later mocked William and was discovered by his son... A seemingly warm atmosphere to describe the failure of this "court" education, the decay of knowledge and the lack of promotion of personality, and the shaping of the "successor" of the ruling class. Education is relatively a procedural method of teaching. It is ironic, but it cannot be directly analyzed and it appears ambiguous.

This is the first film starring Curly Hair, an excellent film that has been ignored by the public. The wonderful performances of the young and old actors in the film, the gentle soundtrack, and the simple emotions are very moving.

  • William Hundert: There's a code at St. Benedicts of self governments based on mutual trust. You violated that trust. And you've compromised the reputation of this academy. If I thought you didn't know any better, that would be one thing. But willful ignorance is intolerable.

William Hundert: You're confined to the dormitory until 7 o'clock tomorrow morning.

    Deepak Mehta: What about dinner?

    [Louis laughs]

    William Hundert: Excuse me?

Deepak Mehta: Well, I'm hungry, sir.

    [Louis still laughs]

    William Hundert: Mr. Masoudi.

    Louis Masoudi: Mr. Hundert.

    [beat]

William Hundert: Have a good evening, gentlemen.

    [he leaves]
