animal farm

As a great prophet, George Orwell had to read two of his works, one is "Nineteen Eighty-Four" and the other is "Animal Farm". The teacher Tan, who taught us comprehensive English at the university, happened to recommend it. Since then, he has put away all the unhappiness in the classroom and played the role of a follower silently.
The library borrowed the original work from Shanghai Translation Publishing House. After hesitating, he decided to turn on the computer and watch a movie adaptation first, because the classics should be left behind. I picked the popular 1954 animated version, the picture quality was surprisingly high-definition, and I was also unexpectedly into the movie. My brain is constantly revolving with the plot, pondering the political metaphors while admiring it. Of course, some of them have been comprehended and some have been over-interpreted. It is said that the characters in it are all shaped with the help of prototypes. As for how to correspond, I am really stumped. Anyway, Marxism-Lenin Stalin Trotsky Motolov is on the list. Next, let’s talk about my analysis and perception of this fable from a purely personal perspective.
First of all, the scene of the illegal assembly is the surging calm before the riot. At this time, a leader must come forward and speak inflammatory words to encourage everyone to make a revolution. The trembling vocal cords are mixed with indignation and dissatisfaction, and also full of strong desire to be the master of the country. We are so oppressed and exploited that even the most basic food and clothing problems cannot be solved. Why not overthrow the old policy and realize the new one? Driven by this atmosphere, the people below felt that the grand blueprint described spoke their hearts out, so they cheered and sang the Internationale. Of course, there are a lot of scumbags among them. One is the cooperator who wakes up and doesn't know what to say, and the other is the timid and weak wind blowing the grass on both sides of the wall. The film sets the flag here with the words of old Mazer - but remember: when you get rid of Jones, don't learn his evil deeds! We animals are brothers, big and small, wise and ignorant, long-skinned and long-feathered, now and forever, all animals are equal!
With unity is strength, Jones was expelled and the armed uprising was victorious. The first step in turning the proletariat into a "property class" is to destroy the so-called "dross" left over. Our Chinese people should have a strong visual impact on this, and they will also feel an inexplicable sense of substitution. After the ambitious Napoleon tasted the sweetness of privilege, his greedy nature was increasingly exposed, and interests drove him to gradually move towards the opposite of popular opinion. There are no rules and no circles, so the seven commandments with legal significance were promulgated. The only unacceptable commandment was "four legs are good, two legs are bad". Since all animals are equal, why artificially install trumped-up class accusations? If it is impossible to seek common ground while reserving differences, then there is no need to achieve great unification.
Next is an orderly and stable life, self-sufficiency, food and clothing, everyone is busy and happy, dedicated and longing for. When the material level reaches a certain height, it is necessary to start pursuing spiritual life. Education is the most basic means. Snowball, as a leading figure, has taken a long-term view of the energy supply problem of the farm. But Napoleon was different. He started a partisan battle for his own selfish interests, which ended in Snowball's political persecution. After successfully conspiring to usurp the throne, it is time to give the other party a slap in the face. Therefore, it is often said that there is no right or wrong in politics, only winning and losing, and justice is only the words of the winning party.
After Napoleon's rule, tyranny and tyranny began. In the construction of the windmill project, labor was cheap and worthless, and at the same time, the corruption of the upper class was bred. There is one animal that has to be mentioned here, and that is Boxer, the hardworking horse that wakes up from morning to night. And in the end, what happened to him? Being sold because they are no longer productive is a lesson from the blood of honest people who have no power to tie up their opponents. But the dictator doesn't care about this, he is making deals with the capitalists to get what they want. During this period, there were also brief uprisings of chickens, but innocent people sacrificed their lives, so it did not last long. There are a few ironic scenes when Jones and his gang invade. One is that a pig did not charge, but repeatedly acted as a deserter, insinuating that some people did not want to die for the country. Another is that the ruler did not immediately mourn the dead and wounded people, but hid in a safe and concealed place to enjoy the fruits of victory, complacent for the enemy's hasty escape.
The extravagant and wasteful living style of pigs is in stark contrast to the lack of food for the bottom animals, and finally the decree was revised - all animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others. Watching the pigs toasting and drinking at the table, Benjamin the donkey swayed for a moment, and at that moment the figure of Napoleon and Jones overlapped. I think the details here are particularly good, revealing the same nature of decay and the difference in the carrier of violence. The original intention of the old Mazur no longer exists, and is abandoned in the corner and forgotten in the air.
At the end, the lackeys were rotten and the pigs were exterminated. For Benjamin, it was a success, but for more people, it was just another cycle...

The ending of the original work has been greatly changed, but although the bulls and horses overthrew the autocratic rule of the pigs, they will create a new privileged class in the future. The problem is not fundamentally solved.

An animated adaptation of Orwell's famous political fable. More than half a century later, the message is still deafening. All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.
