Ways to treat insomnia

It never occurred to me that the way I greeted 2009 turned out to be insomnia. Maybe it was a little Pu'er drink with my brother in the evening, which made me still painfully awake at 4:58 in the morning on January 1, 2009.
Rather than lying in bed thinking wildly and torturing yourself, it is better to get up and write something, although five hours have been wasted by me like this.
Every time I talk to others about my insomnia, they will always ask with a secret smile, "Is it thinking about my thoughts?" Although they often pretend to be stupid, I actually understand that the "mind" here refers to the one that cannot be escaped. The word is the word "love".
Tonight, my mind was tossing over and over again in the shadow of "The English Patient", and the thinking at midnight was completely different from that during the day. It is said that most people tend to behave abnormally when they suffer from insomnia, so use this quiet night to write this article that you never thought you would write.
No matter how high the evaluation of the outside world is, I was really stunned when I watched this film. The reason is that Minghella's filming method does not limit love to the interaction between the man and the woman. The uniqueness of this movie is that love becomes the weakness and demon of the person's heart. From this point of view, another meaning of the purely translated name "The English Patient" is reasonable:
that love has become a terminal illness of Earl Earl.
All people will say, "Oneself is their own worst enemy". To overcome one's own means to overcome one's own shortcomings, almost everyone can understand that psychological shortcomings are the most difficult to overcome in a person's life. The deep meaning involved in almost all good movies is to discuss how to achieve self-release, or whether it is possible for a person to cross the gap of self-construction.
The two loves of British patients, the main line of love between Emmashu and Catherine itself is established on the basis of derailment (though this surprised me when watching movies), because derailment is not in line with ordinary people's ability. I agree with the love model, and it is clichéd. Infidelity and infidelity are the foundation or part of the root cause of "The English Patient". It is not difficult to see through the movie that both Emmanuel and Catherine are first-class characters. They have a self-awareness of world affairs. Even if they have not passed through, they should know the torture of extramarital love after indulgence. It stands to reason that high-end people like them will not fly moths to the fire, but why is the result like this?
This shows the outermost layer of Minghella's core: that is, no matter how knowledgeable, no matter how high-end and advanced human beings, they can't overcome the drive of sensual desire. The bud of love may be called good, even if it is taken out alone under the premise of the whole betrayal, it is still good. The argument between reason and sensibility is like the argument between human beings and nature. One hundred percent victory over nature is the same as the conclusion that one hundred percent rational dominates thinking, which is impossible. To fully understand this film, one must first accept the fact that the weaknesses at the root of human nature cannot be eliminated. The difference between humans and robots is that even if humans improve their technology, they cannot completely avoid the existence of errors.
Two seemingly rational people with advanced academic qualifications, as long as a suitable environment, some basic so-called coincidences, can completely perform behaviors that are not tolerated by society.
There is no way to explain love in words, and naturally, it cannot be explained in movies. The excellence of the British patient as a romantic movie is only that it truly shows one of the branches of love to a certain extent.
After Imashu and Catherine made the wrong behavior, judging from the content of their conversation in the bathtub, after the first affair, they hoped that they could use all their rationality to control the love. This is naturally in line with the arrogance of human beings. This kind of powerless control brings crazy indulgence at Christmas instead. Although Minghella's description of Catherine's husband was partially ugly at the beginning, when Colin Firth saw his wife's sweaty skin after having fun with others, he nervously asked, "Is your body uncomfortable?" ", I also began to waver in this wonderful extramarital affair.
Love is a human subject, and we spend our entire lives to prove an accepted conclusion on this subject. Many people often cheat and quit in the middle, or simply don't insist on conclusions.
People are impulsive and rude when they are in love, and become more complicated when they fall in love, like a bug entangled in a spider web. Even if the eyes can see the essence of things, the behavior cannot guarantee to make the right choice, being limited by weakness, driven by desire, unable to reach, unable to return, raging, and gradually degenerate. Catherine's retreat in the movie theater and Imashu's seizure at the banquet are all classics of this characteristic.
Because Emmashu loves to indulge and use force, this kind of indulgent relationship no longer needs Catherine's husband, even an innocent dance partner can become the source of entanglement. If it goes on, it will be ruined.
The movie is turning around here, and the trajectory of the two sides is dominated by the objective plot. This is Minghella's cleverness, but it is also helpless. Because after the flowers bloom, they must be withered. He could only use war to block the time of flowering, let them out of troubled times, and let them involuntarily.
Of course, the weakness of human nature does not only belong to the person who has done bad things. The dark side of the heart of the betrayed person is also overflowing out of control. Jeff's weak personality prevented him from confronting Imashu or his beloved wife, even though he was indeed a logical victim. The collision of agitation and timidity finally caused him to make a psychologically different behavior: take his wife to kill Aimashu.
Of course, from the point of view of the movie itself, that is, from the standpoint of Imashu and Catherine, this tragedy has become an opportunity for two people who were originally depraved to be sublimated, and the movie does not need to be desperate. The form ends.
As for Imashu's cooperation with the Germans for Catherine, I personally think that for him at the time, this choice does not require thinking at all. At that moment, he could sacrifice himself or kill others in order to keep her chance without thinking. Politics had no meaning to him at this moment.
Many people say that this movie is too scattered and it is difficult to understand the first time it is seen. It was the same when I watched it for the first time, maybe it was late, or maybe because of the friends who shared the appreciation together back then, I even gave up before even half of it. Its patient reunion seemed too meaningful. In fact, it now seems that this movie can almost become the criterion for immunity to boring films. Some movies are like this. It needs time and fate to meet with you: what you can’t understand is called boring film; you understand , It becomes your favorite.
Their love at first was the purest instinct of mankind, but it lost the result after the turbulent process. Uncontrollable love becomes a virus and penetrates into the bones of all people involved.
This is a tragedy that can make Eros cry dry. The two protagonists are first accused by the audience and then more sympathetic. If it weren't for the episode between Juliet Binoche and the Indian officer on the sideline, the whole movie would be much darker and hopeless. After all, human nature is common. Reason is the goal that human beings can never reach. We would rather use humanistic care to soothe scars. This is a habit. Because there is no death, life must continue; without death, there will never be a final end.
Although there is no main line aesthetic, Juliet Binoche's love is the part that bears the sunshine of the whole movie, and the color tends to be more green and brilliant than the former's desert yellow. She and the Indians demonstrated what humans can do: correct themselves through wrong examples, use their strengths and avoid weaknesses if they can't beat the demons, and control the sensuality within the limits of their ability. Although it may not seem to work, it is true. After all, she and her love did not die at the end of the movie.
Love cannot be defined and restricted. Without death, there will still be opportunities.
As for love in the secondary line, I don’t know when the next insomnia will be.

I just remember it was beautiful

Destiny prefers to make fun of people. People with German names are not trusted to serve Britain, and they are injured in the German army but become British patients. I hate lies but betrayed my husband, and you hate possession but possess me. Knowing that you will not come back, I will die but I firmly believe that you will come back, knowing that I am still in the world but I have already died with you. Regardless of the fate of you and my life and death, I love you is my life's unchanging vow.
