What is the scariest thing?

Just finished watching this "Mist". It feels sad that the backward process of mankind has been exposed to the full, and the cowardice, humbleness and ignorance of human nature have also been brought out ruthlessly.

Stephen King is undoubtedly a sign, but the more gilded one is Frante Darabont, the master who created the movie myth back then showed his magical powers again and again. The "Shawshank's Redemption" of that year has already given us a glimpse of the master's level. The inspirational story was filmed without the concept of time. Looking back at this work 20 years later, it is still wonderful.

Let me talk about a small episode. The prisoner of Eddie Beer on the roof of the hot asphalt in "The Shawshank's Redemption" played a major role in "The Mist" this time. Here we sell it. Close, let's see if you can find out, ha ha.

Entering the topic, after watching this film, it was very uncomfortable. The human nature was so vividly portrayed that after watching the complete film, I actually had doubts about human nature. We humans are not in this way in the process of evolution. Progress originated in science. Science has brought suspicion, and doubt has brought ignorance. The ignorance is because human beings are not confident in themselves. So who to ask for help? Unnecessary gods.

When people gradually distrusted themselves, religion prevailed. This reminded me of something: When science struggled to reach the top to find answers, it was surprisingly found that religion had already sat on the top. The crazy woman in the film is just a symbol. In this society, there are always some people who are too ignorant, but extremely stupid. In fact, ignorance is not terrible, but ignorance is terrible. It is terrible in these people stubbornly insisting on what they have seen. Never believe in science, but at the same time confuse the crowd. This is the most terrible thing, think about it, what can be more terrible than spreading ignorance?

The people in the film are clearly mapped into several categories in the human process. The protagonist and his friends are human liberals. They have always kept a cool head and have a clear direction of struggle. This direction is survival and freedom. For this reason, they have always been in force. The part of people who didn’t believe in monsters at first and were scared and then confused by mad women are the representatives of ignorance and weakness among human beings. They should try their best to save their destiny on their own, but they don’t know what the result will be. Under the circumstances, you can only sway with the dominant figure. There is no opinion, sad and pitiful. Wasn't the part of people who didn't agree with the opinion of a mad woman from the beginning and then followed her faithfully is a portrayal of believers in the current society? I respect people with religious beliefs, but this does not mean my approval. This group of people innocently pin their hopes on the gods, ignorantly defending the way and waiting for or even killing their own kind, this kind of extremely weak human nature is disgusting. When I saw this part, I couldn't even laugh or cry. The dagger pointed at my own kind. What you killed was your own power. Didn't you think that you would work hard together to overcome difficulties?

Then there is the mad woman, this woman is a staunch defender and preacher, and her existence is a truly terrible threat. Think about it, if people are tightly united without her, there is nothing terrible or regrettable even if they all die in the end. However, because of her existence, the boy who was trembling with fear by the terrible monster was safe and sound under the full protection of his father, but was forced to the brink of life by a similar person, which is really ironic.

Talk about a few details.
First, the soldier's death, he died unjustly, he was killed not so much by ignorance as by the inferiority of self-deception in human nature. People killed him only when they were so frightened that they had nowhere to go and crashed like flies. But please pay attention, who is fanning the flames to guide people on this meaningless road?

Second, the last monster and gunshots. The car trembled up and down, and a huge monster passed by. This is a symbol of despair. The human in the car will never be able to defeat it. Then the gunfire sounded. This is sad. Since they are all going to die, why not just go out and kill it in the dark? If there is a fight between humans and humans, someone will kill a few before committing suicide at the end, but does it matter if the opponent is a monster? No courage? Think about other human beings?

Third, the mother who finally took the military vehicle. At the beginning, the woman knew that it was dangerous, but she resolutely walked out for her child. She was lucky to survive. When the truck was passing by, the actor faced her eyes, also working hard for her own children. The mother persisted, but the actor did what a father shouldn't and was the least likely to do when he was about to be rescued. Why don't you hold on anymore?

Generally speaking, this is a very good film, Darabont did not lose his standard, and we were very embarrassed to watch it. The most emotional thing is that in that small supermarket, when the actor said that in the future, the mad woman would be going to engage in a sacrifice and would find someone to kill him, and the later development of the plot confirmed his speculation, I was surprised. Realize that human civilization can go back to the original in an instant. It turns out that human civilization is so fragile.

"As soon as human beings think, God laughs."

Finally, I praised the music at the end of the film, and the female voice was very touching.

Men do not leave the supermarket with their loving mothers and lose their chances of survival; men prompt the cause of the sound outside the gate, killing the boy; men insist on running into the pharmacy, but lose their lives anyway; men take risks and take guns, bullets provide the possibility of tragedy; men are determined to make a desperate wandering , Obviously, he was wrong. If right or wrong depends solely on effectiveness, he is all wrong. But it's right and wrong, and it's more than that, isn't it?

The ending is shocking. Others are hell.
