The story is quite simple. It tells the story of the protagonist, Faxiao and his girlfriend staying outside together, and because of a sentence they accidentally found in the bedside table, they released an evil spirit and caused their entire army to be wiped out.
The evil spirits in this are quite interesting. They control people's minds to create illusions and use the hands of others to kill or force others to be killed. And as long as others know his name, he can spread and become stronger and stronger because of people's fear. Actually, I don't quite understand what the director wants to express. Is it to express "unspoken persecution"?
But to be honest, I quite appreciate the male protagonist in it, although from the initial disbelief in evil, to the facts he faced later and everything he did in the end, he was quite responsible.
