During the Vietnam War, American college students launched student activities against the war and demanding democracy. Mark was a student at the University of Los Angeles. During this activity, many of Mark's classmates and teachers were detained by the authorities. Mark and his classmates were also in a confrontation with the police. Mark accidentally killed a policeman. Under the arrest of the authorities, Mark started his escape. On the other hand, Dalia, a secretary working for a large commercial company, drives alone across the desert to Phoenix for some unknown reason. The various situations on the road made her even more disgusted. Mark found an airport, sneaked on a small plane, and forced it to fly. While traveling through the desert, Mark spotted Daria on the ground and threw his red coat at her. Soon, Dalia found the plane parked in front of her. Although she learned that it was a stolen plane, she still took Mark to find gasoline. Mark tells her about the shenanigans of his college life, and the two get along well and soon start having sex in a desert. Just as they were making love, the whole valley was filled with men and women making love, and the wilderness was full of energy and romance for a while. Mark refueled the plane and repainted the plane with absurd and pornographic paint, and the two said their goodbyes. The police spotted Mark and shot him as they landed. Dalia, who was still driving in the desert, was saddened to hear the news on the radio. After arriving at Phoenix's villa and hearing the ugly conversations of a group of bourgeois tycoons full of money and copper, Dalia thought of what happened to Mark and wanted to cry without tears.
