Boring? More shocking and moving.

Damien Chazele is very different.

The viewability is not as good as his first two films. It is a bit dull. It can be seen that the director is trying to shoot Armstrong's story in a more calm way.

I don’t know if the effect presented has met Damien Chazele’s expectations, but it is indeed a very different aerospace biographical film.

Subjectively, the director did not spend too much time to show how difficult the project is, how fierce the Cold War game between the United States and the former Soviet Union is behind the project, how scientists and engineers break through the difficulties, and finally succeeded from scratch... These perspectives have been there before. The movie has been filmed.

So Damien Chazere puts his perspective on Neil Armstrong. How he is selected and how he exercises and learns after the election is not the focus. The focus is on emotions.

The impact of Armstrong’s loss of his daughter, the impact on him after the accidental death of his astronaut colleague, the behavior of escaping from his family when he knew that the chance of returning to Earth was not high the night before landing on the moon, etc., let the audience know that Armstrong is more than just It is the hero that everyone knows from the media. It is also a father, a husband, a friend, and a man.

You can also see the continuous improvement of the spacecraft during the years he participated in the moon landing project. The first flight was as simple as a jeep that had been driving for twenty years. It seemed to fall apart at any time when taking off. However, these pioneers in space have used great courage, blood and life to allow this field to develop. If it weren’t for them, We can only look up at the moon now.

In several missions, Armstrong relied on his super physical fitness, perseverance, courage and calm resilience to overcome dangers. It was almost he himself that made the test successful.

After watching the movie, I learned that before the execution of Apollo 11, NASA did not have much confidence in success, at least not in the return journey. Even so, the heroic astronauts still went. It was really great.

The long silence after landing on the moon is so quiet that it makes people panic. Maybe that's the real experience of the astronauts. Gradually, the soundtrack came out, the lens was surrounding the surface of the moon, and the beauty of space made people feel shocked and excited.

At the press conference before the moon landing, the reporter asked Buzz Aldrin what he would take to the moon. Buzz said it was his wife's jewelry. The reporter asked Armstrong, and he replied that it would be more fuel if possible.

However, when Armstrong landed on the moon, the most romantic scene of the whole film came. His mind is full of the face of the lovely daughter who has passed away, and he has left the little jewellery used by his daughter on the moon forever. The real situation may not be the case, but this scene is the most touching and romantic moment in the film.

After watching the movie, I feel even more that the astronauts, the pioneers of the space industry, are great and respectable.
