All films that reflect 1968 France will definitely not be able to escape the word "politics", but most of the time, politics does not understand art, and art does not understand politics. The two will only produce certain conflicts, and the pain will not only be there. There are state institutions, directors, and ordinary movie fans like us.
And most of Bertolucci's films are also political allegories, expressing their own left or right views in the works. But I prefer to see this "Dream of Paris" as the director's "dream of drama" for the film, just like "Paradise Cinema" and "Purple Rose of Cairo", which are full of personal memories and warmth of the movies that were touched.
Sometimes I really appreciate the movie, not only because the conversion of the movie and the dual time and space of life makes life more sensitive and the mind more sensitive, but also because of the common interests and hobbies, I have more friends and talk about it, just like the three in the movie. Like young people, this is really good.
