The incomprehensible evil of human nature

The filming is so good, it is comparable to the night of crime. The story comes from the black bus sexual assault case that shocked the whole of India in 2012. The behavior of the six criminals is inhuman and incomprehensible.

There is a power in this episode as it is told by the victim on the show that you can't help but shed tears.

Delhi, the capital of India, has as many as 11,000 sexual assaults a year, and most of them go unanswered.

There are many characters in the play, but they are not messy. The powerful female deputy police chief, the college student who wants to leave Delhi and go to Canada, the sub-director who is messing around, the police who are capable of doing things but have not turned regular, and those who use the media to make scapegoats. Politicians, judges, unscrupulous media and small journalists who insist on justice, hot-blooded youths who took to the streets to protest, and criminals who escaped everywhere, driven by their own interests and motives, made this Indian drama of only seven episodes extremely exciting.

The most intuitive feeling after watching the whole film is that poverty is the original sin.

Because of the lack of money, hundreds of millions of poor people have not received any education, and have not received the education of modern civilization at all. Their thoughts are conservative and materialize women, and their concepts and behaviors are closer to animals;

Because there is no money, the social security system is not perfect, the police station does not have the resources and motivation to handle cases, the low salary leads to bribery, and the reputation is damaged. No one wants to be a police officer, forming a vicious circle.

"Cang Lin knows the etiquette, and knows the honor and disgrace", savages and civilized are really not far apart...
