A very unique film, the style is cold and harsh, I dare not say that I fully understand it.
All because of a counterfeit bill. Students who can use counterfeit banknotes have nothing to do with the fact that their wealthy parents went to the photo studio to "say hello", even if they were known to use them; the store manager and store staff instructed their colleagues to lie in court without hesitation , but this is the case; but only the only innocent driver was wrongfully imprisoned, the child died of illness, the wife left, and he couldn't die if he wanted to... Everything was destroyed in one fell swoop.
Minimalist pictures, minimal dialogues, minimal characters, depicting a helpless tragedy. In the film festival, I also watched another Bresson's "Death Convict Escape". Compared with the two, there are indeed similarities in the way of expression, which is very worthy of recollection.
