Martyrs: Sacrifice for the Truth

I thought of a lot when watching this movie, and the most unforgettable experience is the chill that gradually rises to the upper body, and frowns frequently until the end.

As a horror movie lover, I have actually seen a lot of these kind of movies that look painful. In terms of artistic techniques, there is nothing too special (but there are a few powerful transitions), which gradually made my scalp tingle. It's a reflection of reality.

Humanity has stumbled and stumbled in the search for truth, even sacrificing many people in the name of grandeur in the process. For example, the eugenics movement that emerged from the exploration of genetics imprisoned and even euthanized many people with so-called genetic defects, and finally even evolved into the Nazis' brutal massacre of Jews. In the end this movement brought eugenics to shame. Compared with the methods of fanatical religion in the movie, perhaps the inhuman experiment in reality is more cruel. In the process of watching the movie, I suspected that human beings would really do this kind of thing to the lives of the same family, but the fact is that this kind of thing is repeated and even more perverted.

Coercive, organized, planned captivity experiments and even massacres are always driven by power and fed by wealth. It is these that make humans discriminate against each other, and are born to imprint on their own rank or class. In fact, this film is similar to "120 Days of Sodom", but the depiction of individual torture is more intuitive and in-depth than the performance of the group. In "Suo", young people are the playthings of ugly power; in "Sacrificial", these girls are the victims of cults. Nirvana, which was cultivated without personal will, finally became the object of worship of everyone, which is really ironic. Human beings, as living creatures, will learn to get used to and adapt to new environments. Watching Anna's numbness of abuse step by step, and finally seeing the gaze of the other shore at the critical point of death, it was a chill that went deep into the bone marrow, especially seeing that this girl used to be puzzled by her friend's crazy revenge, and knew how to rescue the prisoner. The comparison after the kindness of the people was completely wiped out, all explained the desperate situation.

The suicide of the old woman was unexpected and expected. Anna's last description, for all mortal beings, is nothing but a futile effort. So many fearless sacrifices, so many large-scale efforts, just to prove a hypothesis of a group of people. This is how human beings approach the truth step by step. How many futile and innocent sacrifices are needed before mankind can discover the truth?

How to stop the tragedy of the "martyrs"? Lucy's revenge was obviously in vain. She escaped, but she could not escape the harm caused by the indelible shadow. What she killed was also an unknown person in the organization, an executioner who was ordered to execute. Is it possible to kill the leader of the organization to understand everything? I remember that V tried to start a revolution after being tortured, but can the power of an individual really shake the system established by generations of human beings? Maybe this is the "original sin" of human beings, the nature of human beings Bar.

    Mademoiselle: Keep doubting.

  • Lucie: Is this making you sick? Can you smell that smell? Smells awful, huh? Every time she bent over me, I could smell that, every day. Understand? And it smelled different when she beat me.
