The film in the eyes of the French

This film was shown to us by our French foreign teacher. Here I want to record how, as French people, they watched this film.
This is the film I watched in the topic class about immigration. The three protagonists, one of Jewish descent, one of African descent, and one of Arab descent, all live in the suburbs of Paris, chaotic, poor, full of discrimination, anger and violence. Here, all civilized resistance, demonstrations, or voting are meaningless. No one really cares about the people here. The discrimination against immigrants in the French has never changed. They had no choice but to riot. Everyone is also used to these young immigrants as the protagonists of the riots. So when the reporter came for an interview, he saw Aid and thought that he must have been involved in the riot. This in itself was a kind of prejudice, which angered the originally peaceful Aid and made him hit others.
In the film, Bo Yu repeats a sentence: When a person is falling, he keeps telling himself that until now, everything is fine. But the important thing is not the process of falling, but the moment of landing. Finally, before he fired the gun, the subject of this sentence became a falling society. One person is enough to reflect this society.
At the beginning of the film, Ayid opened his eyes, because throughout the film, he has been a witness and an audience for 24 hours. He witnessed the whole process of the fall until the last moment before the shot was shot. When he fell, he was tight. I closed my eyes tightly, not daring to see the moment of the fall, not daring to look any more.
Vince was born in a Jewish family, except for him, everyone stayed on their own. Why can't he be peaceful? It's not because he is bad, but because he sees that people who are safe and self-sufficient cannot change their lives. They are still impoverished. Then no matter how hard they work, they can't change it. So why go to school and work?
Yu Bo and Vince are two opposite people. One is that they are rebellious and uneasy. They don't have a job and don't go to school. The other works honestly and earns money to support their family, but they lost their boxing gym and work during the riot.
Everything changed until Vince picked up the gun.
He wanted to prove that he was bad enough and powerful, so he dared to make a fuss in the hospital. But until I went to Snoopy. In that high-end apartment, Snoopy must be a scoundrel, he is also a bad guy, why can he be rich? Because of drugs. His money came quickly, and he was bad enough. When Vince provoked, he played a trick with Vince, a bullet in the revolver tried his guts. Vince retreated. In fact, a person is either 100% good or 100% bad. Vince is the former. He didn't know it himself.
In the last 6 minutes, the contradiction finally broke out. Vince always wanted to shoot and kill to vent his anger, but he realized that he couldn't do that. When he put aside the violence, he was eventually killed by the violence.
The short Jewish old man in the public toilet told them a story that seemed unrelated to the whole film. But in fact, he himself is Bo Yu, and the companion who fell is Vince. The train is this advancing society. Vince has fallen, behind him is a world of violence and rebellion. Whenever Yu Bo stretched out his hand to pull Vince up, Vince hesitated and fell again because of his own reasons. It didn't catch up until the end, and died in the world behind him.
What I'm talking about here is not just a young rebellion, but also prejudice and discrimination. Until now, this problem has not been resolved. In fact, it is not only in France, but also in China.

The logic is rather chaotic, it's a patchwork of foreign teachers' views, just let's take a look. = =

In American films, Xiao Hei is always chattering, in French films it is Xiao A, and the black gentleman is deep. The song at the beginning and the riot scene are so familiar. It's funny to watch VC imitate a taxi driver and talk to himself in the mirror. The ending is heavy.

Begins with violence, ends with violence, but violence continues, never ends
