Here, all civilized resistance, demonstrations, or voting are meaningless. No one really cares about the people here. The discrimination against immigrants in the French has never changed. They had no choice but to riot. Everyone is also used to these young immigrants as the protagonists of the riots. So when the reporter came for an interview, he saw Aid and thought that he must have been involved in the riot. This in itself was a kind of prejudice, which angered the originally peaceful Aid and made him hit others.
In the film, Bo Yu repeats a sentence: When a person is falling, he keeps telling himself that until now, everything is fine. But the important thing is not the process of falling, but the moment of landing. Finally, before he fired the gun, the subject of this sentence became a falling society. One person is enough to reflect this society.
At the beginning of the film, Ayid opened his eyes, because throughout the film, he has been a witness and an audience for 24 hours.
