Trilogy of British History in Miniature

Before going to the cinema to watch this film, I had not watched the first two. Even after watching the first part, I felt unbearable for the protagonists' brain-dead performance. However, after reading all three of them, it was discovered that this story actually shows the epitome of the three periods of British history.
The historical period corresponding to the first part is roughly equivalent to the Arthurian period. According to official history, King Arthur was an officer of the Roman legion, leading the local tribes of England against the barbarians north of Hadrian's Wall. In Britain at that time, I have to say that there were kings everywhere. In Japan during the Warring States Period, although a place of the size of a prefecture was called a country, the person with the most subordinates of the boss called it "the lord" or "the lord of the museum." At this time, Britain can be king with a territory the size of a county. Many of the twelve knights of the round table under King Arthur's hands were the king's sons. And King Arthur is nothing more than a king, at best it is a leader or something, and one vote is worth two when he speaks. So seeing four kings and queens suddenly appear in the movie, and then there is a lion king, don’t be surprised. Britain was saved by King Arthur from the European continent, and Narnia was also saved by four children from the real world. The image of the snow and ice dominated by the White Witch is a symbol of the northern barbarians. This movie shows the protagonists' confusion facing the unknown environment, which also means that in the Arthurian period, the world in which people lived was still full of unknowns for them.
The historical period corresponding to the second part is hundreds of years in the evening of the first part. According to various signs, it can be inferred that it is roughly equivalent to the establishment of the gorse dynasty. Historically, the Earl of Anjou was the orthodox royal family-the princess's son, and the illegitimate son of the previous king usurped the throne. With the support of France, the Count of Anjou regained the throne. Once again, the four children represent the European continent, and Caspian is equivalent to the Earl of Anjou. However, France originally supported the Earl of Anjou because it could cause trouble to the United Kingdom. This is what France loves to hear; but he did not expect that he really regained the throne. The territory of the Earl of Anjou, including the United Kingdom and the French His large fiefdom has actually surpassed the French king. This led to a very embarrassing situation: the courtier's territory was larger than that of the monarch. The monarch is naturally uncomfortable. So in the third part, Edmond is upset that Caspian is in power and his prestige is no longer. And the third part also mentioned that Caspian's succession to the throne and the South and North controversies probably corresponded to the foreign wars launched by the various generations of monarchs after the establishment of the Gorse Dynasty, such as the Crusades in which the Lionheart King participated. In the Middle Ages, the change of dynasties, the success of the king and the defeat of the invaders, corresponded to the sense of dislocation of the protagonists, the king, the student, and the historical figure.
The third part suddenly came to the era of great voyages-don't you think it is somewhat similar to the Pirates of the Caribbean? The era background is roughly equivalent to the reign of Queen Elizabeth I. The great nautical era was led by Portugal and Spain on the European continent, but in the end they all lost their glory. In the film, Caspian is alone in power, and the protagonists are honorary leaders. The so-called staff do not lead, and they do not fart. Elizabeth I was the last queen of the Tudor dynasty. She was the second daughter of Henry VIII. Prior to this, Henry VIII's son and eldest daughter were kings but died without leaving any offspring. In the film, Peter and Susan, the male and female kings, also exist only in memories. In the era of great navigation, people are faced with all kinds of temptations brought by the new world-and overcoming all kinds of temptations is also one of the main lines in the third film.
When a fairy tale is written to a certain level, it is not just a fairy tale. However, the plot of the third part feels slightly shrunk compared to the first two, which has to be said to be a pity.

As a cute movie, it is really disappointing that there is no cuteness at all, and fairy tales are just fairy tales, and they have to talk about old-fashioned truths. After watching it, I tried to think back, but I didn't think of an impressive scene.
