The story is still the usual Narnia narrative style. You can see some meaning. Since CS Lewis is a religious figure himself, his Narnia works have strong religious connotations: those who are controlled by temptation are punished, and when they are hesitant and confused, they are guided and helped by God (I think the lion king Aslan It is the incarnation of God in the author's mind), the light finally defeated the darkness. The rat warrior Reepicheep finally chose to stay in Aslan's world, which seems to be the image of the clergy (choosing to follow God forever).
The opening and ending of the story echo from beginning to end, and the special effects of water pouring and retracting from the oil painting are made quite realistic and consistent. The plot and rhythm are also well arranged. CG did a great job. As a fantasy movie, I think it is better than this year's "Alice in Wonderland" and "Harry Potter".
