Rush into the door of fantasy

This film is one of Gilliam’s most well-balanced movies I have seen. Several of his early films now seem to be a bit cold for those jokes, and those pictures are indeed a little bit out of place, but this modern product that makes extensive use of CG visual effects is well grasped.

In this film, Gilliam still insists on the older generation of artists' discussion of justice and evil, love and eternal life, honesty and deception, life and death, and still uses practical actions to reveal the weight of art.

His fascination with old-fashioned caravan-style performances may be the same as his fascination with mobile circuses and troupes. It includes the cherishment of the performers' possessions, the sadness of the decline of the performance form, and the joys and sorrows of these people in front of the stage and behind the scenes.

Yes, life is a play. When we are intoxicated in the fantasy world on the screen and watching the colorful and lively characters, are we not playing one of them ourselves? The childhood fantasy world was ruthlessly deprived by the real society. We were helplessly frozen into a so-called role, dressed in gorgeous costumes, smeared with eye-catching cosmetics, shuttled through various conventions and conventions, and spoke a series of standard language. Pursuing the pursuit of others, satisfying the satisfaction of others...

Everyone wants to get into the mirror behind Dr. Parnassos, looking for the real world that is deeply buried or even forgotten, but there are too many We are bound by ropes. Too many restrainers advise us not to move, because only when we stay still can they exist accordingly, and because we behave normally, they will not think that they are crazy.

Human fantasy is full of power. The fundamental reason for the end of an era is the exhaustion of imagination. His imagination initially gave him the blood to move forward. When the imagination is about to come true, he begins to fear losing, so the flower of fantasy is beautiful. After blooming, it begins to wither. How can a person release his energy forever and swim in endless fantasy? Either he repeated his fantasies over and over again until he died; or he changed his original fantasies to make them even more unrealistic. I don't think that impractical is a derogatory term, it's just a rhetoric for fantasizing withered people to deceive themselves.

When death can be changed by betting, when death is deemed temporary, what else can make us hesitate! Hurry up and throw the rope that binds you, and rush into the door of fantasy with joy!
