For the rich and unkind and the wicked

I should be regarded as an enthusiastic viewer of the Human Elimination Project. In my humble opinion, the second part feels better than the first one, so I supported it with four stars.
There are actually quite a few slots in this film, and it is estimated that there are not a few articles that complain about it. If you want to see it, you don't need to enter it. I still want to write something serious.

I

've watched a lot of movies about dividing lines, dividing lines, dividing lines, perverted murderers, but the human removal plan is a bit different. The setting is very simple. One day every year on the American mainland, everyone can be killed. The police and hospitals will ignore it. The government calls it "maintain social balance". This has led to a flurry of demons dancing on this night of every year, the night of a hundred ghosts, seeing people killing, seeing ghosts killing ghosts, revenge, revenge, and the rest locked themselves at home and survived tremblingly. As a result, the ranks of perverted murderers are unprecedentedly large, and anyone who buys a few weapons can take to the streets and do evil things.
However, when the killing became normalized and scaled up, the situation gradually got out of control. This is also the irony of the film.
The first plot that is very impressive: the elderly and seriously ill father sold his life for $100,000 to the rich, and asked them to slay himself as a vent. Seeing this, audiences who have not lost their conscience will inevitably ask angrily: Is human life so worthless? ! I'm afraid the reality is like this. I don't understand the domestic environment in the United States. But I know that in China, there is also such a "cannibalistic" industry-coal miners. There are always a small number of people dug out by the media. Most of the poor laborers who died in the early years were prevaricated by a little money from the boss. Their family members were not unaware of the dangers-once an old village head, facing the interview scene The old tearfully said, we are too poor and our lives are worthless.
The second plot that is very impressive: After the protagonist is caught by a group of masked men, he is not killed. Instead, he is resold to the rich club for the fun of these upper-class killings. This is one of the best footnotes for the government to promulgate the human removal plan-on the surface, everyone participates equally, but in fact it is monopolized by the rich. The rich have the money to protect themselves, while the poor can only run for their lives; the rich can pay to kill them, while the poor can only wait to be killed. If so, it is clear who the government represents. Such a morbid society that keeps the wealth occupied for a long time by constantly removing the bottom layer will inevitably kill each other in the end—all for money, killing you, isn’t money mine anymore? In order not to be killed by you, I must kill you first! ...Once the devil is released, the vicious circle will be difficult to stop.
The repeated appearance of people wearing white masks with GOD in the film is actually an anti-belief and anti-moral symbol. The masked people seem to be merciful and do not kill civilians, but they are making sinful deals with the rich, buying and selling human lives. The same poor people betrayed their kind for money and also sold themselves.
I have two views on the "God Mask". One is that these people still believe in God. It's just that they committed crimes and repented at the same time, so as to relieve the guilt in their hearts, so they could no longer stop doing bad things. The second is that their beliefs have collapsed. They themselves regard themselves as the so-called nihilistic God, deliberately wanting to dominate the fate of others, and find a sanctimonious excuse for evil deeds.
Tolstoy said that the rich need a God because they have everything except God; the poor also need a God because they have nothing but God.
In the world constructed by the human cleanup plan, the gap between the rich and the poor is still the focus of social conflicts. It’s just that the spiritually empty rich people regard the pleasure of killing as their own god, and the mentally painful poor people regard the prostitution of money as their own god. Will pick up a butcher knife to retaliate against the society.
So such a Killing Day is still absurd in nature, but the sad thing is that it projects too much real reality.
For the rich and unscrupulous, the wicked and wicked people are rampant everywhere, no matter what kind, it makes people feel creepy. And those who are hurt by them, who can guarantee that they will not become one of the two? The world is sinister, people are unpredictable, and there are so many perverts.
When watching this violent, thrilling and criminal film, my heart was basically hanging. It was not until the end that I saw a ray of light appear.
The head of the killing group was killed before the hero was killed. It was the man who wanted to get revenge but gave up on the hero. So this is another cliché of mutual salvation, yet so clichéd is so beautiful, this reveals A little bit of the possibility of ending this endless killing is enough to alleviate depression.
For the rich and unkind, the wicked, and the victims, no matter what kind of people, let them make their own way.

It's a good world view, but the story is very boring.

★★★☆It's good-looking, there are Virgin Mary, there are gunfights, there are killings, the tension is also excellent, and the small details in the big environment are at least clear, and the pattern is big.

The Purge: Anarchy quotes

  • Big Daddy: We found your car Sergeant. Your plates told us who you were. It was easy to see where you were headed tonight. Hell, I would've done the same thing. The unwritten Purge rule: don't save lives. Tonight we take lives. We make things manageable. Unfortunately the citizens aren't killing enough. So we supplement it all to keep things balanced. It's important work the NFFA does and we can't have any interference. We can't have heroes... oh no sir... no heroes. I hope you feel cleansed. Blessed be America, a nation reborn.
