A few simple shots in the film can scare you, a man enters a room-----a metal door suddenly opens---the man trips over his feet----looks down and sees a pair of big feet-- --I looked up and saw the murderer and his hammer--a hammer hit the man's head--the man somersaults---the man began to spasm all over--the murderer dragged the man into the slaughterhouse-- --Puff! The iron door is closed! ! ! This series of montage shots is very simple but so exquisite! Especially the power of the hammer and the rattling iron door! ! ! ! The director said in the tidbits that it was carefully designed! And I really like that after the heroine in the finale escapes, the murderer is waving a chainsaw in depressed anger and annoyance, and it turns out to be a ballet! ! ! It's too cool! This movie is a must-see! ! ! !

Early thriller horror films are pioneering in creating an immersive sense of despair and physical fear through the change and choice of camera positions: multi-camera panorama conversion in closed space, long focal length front and side panorama in chase scenes, and partially oversized faces close up. The original concept of man and animal is eliminated and replaced by the identity of the hunter and the person to be caught (the change of perspective of observation and voyeurism), the scene of the skin-faced man beating the first young man to death is exactly the same as the bull-killing described at the beginning.

Chainsaw is the most feared among murder tools. But still can't stop my enthusiasm. Sally's screams filled the last part of the film. Chainsaw's face and Sally's battle royale are so exciting and so cool. I like the lighting of the evening scene very much. The horror atmosphere is still not at home. Overall, it was exhausted but not panicked. complete.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre quotes

  • [first lines]

Narrator: The film which you are about to see is an account of the tragedy which befell a group of five youths, in particular Sally Hardesty and her invalid brother, Franklin. It is all the more tragic in that they were young. But, had they lived very, very long lives, they could not have expected nor would they have wished to see as much of the mad and macabre as they were to see that day. For them an idyllic summer afternoon drive became a nightmare. The events of that day were to lead to the discovery of one of the most bizarre crimes in the annals of American history, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

  • Hitchhiker: You could have dinner with us. You like head cheese? My... my brother makes it real good. You'll like it.
