Dance, Kill, and Kill--The Eunuch 2

Yesterday saw Uncle Dan The Equalizer , for this movie, I was initially rejected, sequel, after all, the majority flutter Street. But the drama was too long, and I couldn't wait for the Chinese New Year to eat meat again.

The beginning of the film is Uncle Dan's trip to Turkey. The little white hat and the beard are well-shaped, at least I guessed it at a glance. Uncle Dan easily solves a scumbag on the train. Uncle Dan is a character who is ruthless and talkative. He still has to take action after a while. The action is clean and neat.

The camera turned and returned to the United States. Uncle Dan became an online ride-hailing driver this time (I think he is), and he usually picks up people of all kinds. In special circumstances, he has to work overtime to kill someone or something. I really am envious of doing it by dancing and killing people.

Friends who have seen 1 should remember that "Susan", a military colleague who provided intelligence to Uncle Dan, happened this time. In the second half of the film, Uncle Dan bid farewell to the good life of dancing and killing people, investigating Susan's death and punishing the wicked, the old routine.

The play basically continues the style of the previous work. The sunset in the United States, the bustling night scene, and the crowd of Xiran are basically reminiscent of the evil under the night. A lonely hero, wandering in the city, fighting violence and peace. Look for peace of mind.

The rhythm of the whole movie is slightly slow, the interspersed passerby characters and the plot are in order, and the action design is fairly clean and neat, without showing off skills and not superfluous. Of course, not showing off skills also means that there is no big scene. The final battle was designed in a seaside town that was hit by a storm. All the people were evacuated to show firepower to the hostile parties. Unfortunately, the final scene was only a few people. Investors are too picky? Fortunately, Uncle Dan's acting skills are mature and appropriate. This should be the highlight of the whole film.

"The Eunuch 1-2" is particularly easy to think of Tom's "The Detective Jack", the same retired agent, the same lonely hero, and the same real danger in the United States. It's hard to say which of the two movies is better, SO, can't compare the advantages, can only be worse. In terms of plot, "The Detective Jack" is more ingenious and suspenseful. The rhythm is compact and not superfluous, and it can still attract the audience. The avengers series is a bit weaker, with a lot of foreshadowing and characterization of the protagonist, saving beauties in taxis, saving black students who have lost their way, and so on. Obviously, this kind of treatment makes Uncle Dan's character design more three-dimensional, fuller, and more engaging. The main storyline is lacklustre, and the audience can basically drive by themselves in the old routine.

In terms of the format, "The Detective Jack" is more crude and simple, and the director does not seem to want to give the film a higher and more compelling meaning. On the contrary, it is easier to accept and like. Killing, the wicked deserve to die, good and evil are rewarded. In addition to the means of punishing evil and promoting good, the arrangement of passerby characters and other plots is even warmer. The director's intention is obvious, the world is not perfect, but we still love him, love life itself.

Both Uncle Dan and Brother Tom are extremely well-known Hollywood talents, but I think that Uncle Dan's performance is more delicate, calm, and comfortable. Atang Ge prefers physical explanations. Of course, every actor needs the cooperation of a good script, director, supporting role, and even props to play his special features. A movie can't explain much.

There are too many special agent movies. For example, the "Mission Impossible" series, the "Mission Impossible" series, and the "007" series. The routine is the same routine, but the pattern is different. Let's not compare them one by one.

In short, every movie has its cuteness. Instead of over-interpreting it, it's better to turn off the lights and watch the show.

good night everybody.

  • Dave York: There is no sin. No virtue. There's just shit people do.

  • Robert McCall: What happened, Dave?

Dave York: You died, that's what happened. Three months after you, uh, disappeared, government shut us down. I went private right after, doing the same thing you and I did for God and country, killing names on a piece of paper. Only now... now there is a price next to it.

Robert McCall: We kill the enemy...

Dave York: Who said they were the enemy? Not us, not me. We just following orders... . Mac, there are no good and bad people, any more. No enemies. Just.. unfortunates.

    Robert McCall: And Susan?

    Dave York: Unfortunate.
