The pragmatic post-faith era

If someone begs for patience, do you think God will give them patience, or give them the opportunity to learn to be patient?
If someone prays for courage, do you think God will give them a moment of courage, or give them a chance to learn to be courageous?
If someone prays for the family to be closer, do you think God will give them a sense of grind, or give them a chance to love each other?
This is what God said in "Fake Tenjin 2"! It allows us to understand that faith is not only hope, but also requires us to practice it all our lives. The essence of the whole film is that the ancient religious beliefs are both deconstructed and constructed-the form becomes secondary, while the belief itself is preserved.
But I think this may just be the belief of Westerners! In their eyes, their faith is far greater than we Chinese want to come. The international blockbuster produced by Hollywood is more intended to express the grand belief that "Americans are the savior of the world". However, to use the very fashionable words of the moment: The Chinese are in the "post-faith era"!
The "post-faith era" can be explained in the most concise way as "the era without faith." However, some people say that Chinese people now have something more persistent than belief, and that is "money and power"! The advent of the age of fetishism has accelerated the lack of faith in people's hearts. Maybe we don't have Westerners' piety to faith, but the existence of each nation will inevitably have something on which it depends.
For me, I don’t have Westerners’ pious belief in Christianity, and I don’t understand Tibetans’ obsession with kowtow rituals. But I think there is nothing wrong with the "post-belief era". It may be a pragmatic attitude.
In my opinion, Chinese people have been influenced by Confucianism for a long time, and the "family concept" has long been deeply ingrained. Sometimes, the desire for money and power is more of a concept of being responsible to the family, hoping that the family can live a good life. The Chinese have long been tired of living a hard life, and whoever has the money and the power does not want to live a well-off life. Without faith, the "family concept" is a very pragmatic and touching spiritual support for China. Chinese people have taken on family responsibilities and practiced them with their lives. In fact, this may not be easier than piety to faith.
In my home, what my parents did for our home made me feel great and touching. Although they have never had such a noble state of mind to pursue any beliefs, they bear the responsibility of the family on their shoulders without any regrets. Sometimes, as a person, there is nothing wrong with being pragmatic! We are not the creators, we are just ordinary people. Our abilities only allow us to do things within our capacity. We help others and pursue our ideals on this basis, but ideals are not equal to beliefs.
In the pragmatic post-faith era, we just pursue what we can pursue, assume what we can afford, give up what we cannot do, and get what we deserve. Perhaps, we cannot say that in the post-belief era, the Chinese people’s faith is missing. The Chinese people are just looking for a more pragmatic mentality as a spiritual support. The Chinese are using their own methods to practice, and the Chinese have also taken the responsibility. Maybe the Chinese will always just give silently, maybe my parents will always just give silently, but they still have a pursuit!

This can indeed be regarded as a comedy, and it is very joyful~ God is still the same God, the fake god has been replaced by the poor supporting role Evan in 1, and I really don't like Jim Carrey's too neurotic interpretation in 1, and the plot is even more One to one, like 2 is a lot better than 1. The plot is sweet enough.

It's a silly and unreasonable comedy. I've never found it funny when steve plays it. It's better than Jim Carrey. Your environmental theme is too far-fetched.
