Similar to a dog's mission, its life is told from the perspective of a dog. In the beginning, Enzo was lying on the floor, narrating Mongolian legends. It began to recall its life, the daily life of living alone with Danny, running and running every day until meeting Eve. Enzo didn't welcome Eve, only to understand later that his fears were: Eve was like a rainy day that drivers were afraid of, which made Enzo overwhelmed. The car won't be fast if it's going to be afraid of rain, and Enzo starts to accept Eve.
Marriage, childbirth, and death, Enzo has experienced the birth, old age, sickness and death of Danny's family. He has always accompanied Danny. Perhaps, this is the meaning of pets. Pets and people accompany each other and go through life together.
The whole movie is straightforward. The main contradiction is the dispute between Danny and Eve's parents. From Danny's occupation at the time of marriage to the custody of the children after Eve's death, they are not completely opposed, close and contradictory. Whether their bickering or confrontation, grandmother giving up testimony, or Enzo's amusing revenge against grandfather and grandmother, there's a knowing smile that makes up the film organically.
