. The first time I watched this movie was half a year ago, because it was a movie outside of Twilight by Rob. The film has a slow pace, with a decadent atmosphere at the beginning. The whole film is filled with a melancholy style, and should end, the ending is unexpected and sad.
When I watched it again, I realized that this is not a film that only tells about love and 911. 911 is just a subtitle attached.
Live in the moment
Tyler has lived in the shadow of the past for a long time because of his brother’s suicide. He missed it intensely. My brother, but he couldn't forgive his selfishness, and hated his father's inability to save him, as well as his strong self-blame. Every morning he would go to the restaurant where he last saw his brother, remembering and talking.
The younger sister Caroline also lives in the shadow of Tyler's pain due to the death of her brother. She uses art to express her distress and expresses her deep love for her only brother Tyler. Tyler put all his love for his deceased brother on his younger sister. Both brothers and sisters were scarred in their hearts, but they spent year after year supporting each other.
Until Tyler met Ally,
11-year-old Ally witnessed her mother being killed, but she bravely walked out.
The style of the whole film is from the first date of Tyler and Ally to clarity.
On the first date, Tyler was deeply attracted by Ally's behavior of eating dessert first and then staple food. "What if i might die, before i had my dessert?"
Just such a small plot, the center of the film drew out.
Ally's cheerful personality completely attracted Tyler. He slowly walked out of the shadows and slowly lived in the sun. He will also write to his brother and share things about her.
When Tyler got to know his father and gradually forgave himself for forgiving his father, he encountered misfortune.
Why did you choose 911 as the origin of his misfortune? I guess that on that day, in his father's office in the World Trade Center, he learned all the feelings his father had buried in his heart. When he decided to forgive his father, himself, and his elder brother, just when everything seemed to be complete, 911, as a disaster that no one could predict at the time, took away the life of the young Tyler and took him away.
