As a person who loves life, I can't accept the cruel and unlimited attitude/practice of the heroine in the film towards her only friend, the man named Richter. As a result, many days after watching the film, I still can't make the usual film record with peace of mind.
There is really no way to delay it any longer. The more textual debts accumulated in the future, the more and more debts will be accumulated, and it is almost unbearable today. It's time to muster up the courage, face the ugly/darkness of human nature, and complete the viewing record of this film.
Indeed, from the perspective of the female protagonist Rosetta, under the circumstances that basic survival is difficult to guarantee, friendship and love are luxury goods, and they can be trampled/abandoned/sacrifice. The crux of the matter is that Richter is innocent. He was all wrong, but he was wrong in approaching Rosette. And, extended a hand of friendship to her. that is it.
In order to help Rosetta salvage the drowning tackle, despite the cold winter, he jumped into the muddy and smelly ditch near the camp by himself. Sure enough, unfortunately, he fell into a swamp, and the more he struggled, the deeper he fell, and it almost cost him his life. When he screamed for help with his life hanging by a thread, Rosetta instinctively chose to ignore it. To watch the people who stood up for him suffer, just to get the job he vacated to earn a living. Gee. Unable to look directly, outrageous. If human nature is so ugly, what is there to hope for in life?
This situation reminds me of the legend of the famine when people changed their children to eat.
After that, Rosetta failed to find a job for N times, and was disappointed and lost. Going to Richter, in the shop where he worked part-time, while eating the muffins he handed over. Turned out to betray Richter and let him lose his trust/jobless/out of the muffin shop owner. Then, replace the idea yourself.
Then, she actually "resolutely" put it into practice.
I was so angry that I couldn't think, and it was even harder to calm down.
I don't want to comment from the female lead's point of view. Looking at Richter, at the end of the day, he still couldn't give up the heroine. Still disregarding previous suspicions, the man who still lends a helping hand to the heroine. I was speechless. All evil and poverty are the first, but, but. . . . . .
Undoubtedly, Richter's kindness and generosity are awe-inspiring.
As a layman, I have to say that I would rather help those at the bottom of society from afar than be too close to them. For I live only once, and I would rather die of my enemies than at the hands of those whom I have done for good.
In short, if this film has any lessons or help for me, it is: never be a life-saving straw for others. Because I can't accept the consequences of being sacrificed and abandoned afterwards.
All in all, a good rating overall. The Darney Brothers' imagery and narrative are unique and unique in style. Impressive and refreshing after viewing. Give it an 8.0/10.
