Today I went to see a movie adapted from this called "Jack the Giant Killer". The movie is quite satisfactory, mainly looking at 3D special effects. The heroine is not beautiful, but the scene of the two kissing on the pea vine in the moonlight is really romantic and very desirable.
After reading it and recalling the stories I had seen before, I felt that this giant was really innocent. If something was stolen, I didn’t tell me, I was killed when I came out to catch the thief. But when I was a child, I felt that what the protagonist did was right, and the one who was against the protagonist and looked fierce must be a bad person. Finally Jack got the treasure, and the giant died, clapping his hands and cheering.
Children are ignorant and don't have such clear moral concepts. It's okay to think so. But when I grow up I find that many adults still think like children. In case of trouble, it does not analyze the right or wrong of the matter itself, but makes judgments based on the labels on both sides. Those with the label of being close to themselves are right; those with the label of being alienated from themselves are wrong. This is really a very troublesome thing. Whenever everyone can learn to justify the matter and not label it, it will be fine.
