Bits of a delemma

An interesting conversation between Graham and Ann:

GRAHAM: So I just formed my own personal theory that you should never take advice from someone of the opposite sex that doesn't know you intimately.
...
Oh, see , I meant someone you've had sex with. That's part of the theory.

ANN: So since I've never had sex with you, by your own advice I shouldn't accept your advice.
GRAHAM:That's correct. Bit of a dilemma, isn't it?

ANN is also a smart woman. It's just that I can't bear to feel a little sense of security in marriage, and it seems that it is my responsibility to stick to traditions.

Can people in intimate relationships really give advice to each other? We don't say much when we love privately, or when we care about someone.

7 points. The kind that doesn't like it but admits it's good. There was a certain avant-garde in that era. I really like that kind of "Zhengda Theater" style. The furniture display, character modeling and film coloring all have the flavor of that era, and it is very comfortable to look at. It can be regarded as a discussion of the possibility of sex, which is quite touching. That kind of sisterhood is interesting. My sister is very attractive. I don't think Ann and Graham will be happy together either.

It is so profound and has nothing to do with sex.

Sex, Lies, and Videotape quotes

  • Ann: I want to know why you are the way you are!

Graham: And I'm telling you it's not any one thing that I can point to and say "That's why!" It doesn't work that way with people who have problems, Ann, it's not that neat, it's not hat tidy! It's not a series of little boxes that you can line up and count. Things just don't happen that way.

  • Ann: You can't possibly trust him. He's perverted.
