Starring Helen Hunt, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Wilkinson. Based on the famous British writer Oscar Wilde's handed down work "Mrs. Wen's Fan". It tells the emotional entanglement of some British, Americans and Italians on the Italian seaside in the 1930s. It satirizes the hypocrisy of the upper class, and highlights the kindness in the hearts of some people with bad reputations.
The dialogue in it is wonderful! The rhetoric is gorgeous and philosophical, and the punchline is full of wit! Coupled with a rather complicated plot and subtle feelings between characters. A good script coupled with excellent performances by the actors, and Scarlett Johansson, a rare Garbo-esque beauty in the 21st century. Worth seeing!
