Small meets big story

The story of the film "Toilet Hero" takes place in rural India. It tells about a loving newlywed couple. The wife finds out that her husband's house has no toilet. She has to go to the toilet with a group of village women. The embarrassing encounter with the toilet was unbearable, and she asked her husband to build a toilet. Out of love for his wife, the husband faced a series of difficulties and criticisms for building a toilet at home. In the end, the husband changed those who were talking about them. The views of the people and the staunchly opposed old father on the matter have successfully promoted a "toilet revolution" and maintained his marriage. This story may seem absurd, but it does reflect the real status quo of Indian society. This reality is ironic. Hinduism has a very paranoid concept of "cleanness", but what we know is often used as a joke on the Internet. It is Indians who defecate everywhere because there is no toilet. The conflict between these religious ideas and modern civilization and the prominent sexism are reflected in the film.

In fact, it's not as interesting as expected. Most of the film is rather boring.
