First time watching a Ceylon movie. Originally, I wanted to watch "The Three Monkeys and Only Son", but since Ceylon is not good at murder and crime films, I chose this more representative film from him. The whole movie is 2 and a half hours, and the part at night is nearly an hour. In this part of the car at night, the rendering of the lights and the dialogue between the characters make me realize that he is in a slow and leisurely storytelling club. Each individual has his own predicament. There is no major turning point in the whole film. The first half is a field investigation, involving the long-range shooting of the large branch. need to be patient. In the middle section, there is a close-up of the apple: the apple rolls down the mountain all the way to the background of the river. , I think it is probably inevitable that the feeling is happening. The dead man at the end was placed on the dissection table, like an animal. His son was walking up and down the mountain outside the window. Below the mountain was a group of children who symbolized hope. Our vision, after the painting is over, the contrast between the voices of anatomical human beings and the energetic voices of the children makes me so uncomfortable.

The film is like life itself, a large amount of moments that are piled up and seemingly meaningless, a small amount of moments that are like light (such as a scene where a girl appears with a lamp). Who says this is a matter of spending too much time talking about too little? This is obviously a very [overflowing] work. It's just that the scars, forgiveness, punishment...all the stories, all the director's intentions for you to understand, are in the blank of the story, you need to follow the incident patiently and figure it out by yourself.

The show at night is twice as good as during the day
