A summary of the electric pianos that appear in FLCL

FLCL can be said to be a work with a strong rock flavor, and its pictures, music, and core are all in the spirit of Rock'n'Roll. After reading it in one breath, I sorted out several electric pianos that appeared in the work.

#1 Rickenbacker 4003

The first electric piano that appears in the feature film is also the electric piano that runs through the beginning and end. It is the left-handed bass that Haruko carries with him.

This frame can clearly see the Rickenbacker on the headstock

The headstock here may be to avoid brand name exposure or painting mistakes ( ), the logo and text of the actual headstock are facing down.

The close-up of episode 6 shows that the headstock logo is tipped down

#2 Gibson Flying V

The second piano is Naota's "Ball" and the third is "Slingshot". The body of the piano is very recognizable, and it is a big G at a glance.

This guitar that has been changed to a slingshot should also be the same series

Gibson Flying V, classic white

#3 Gibson EB-0

The fourth electric organ is Atomsk's bass, and Haruko directly called out the model.

Gibson EB-0 61, cherry

#Extra two-headed piano

The last guitar was a two-headed combination of Naota's Flying V and Atomsk's EB-0.

It feels like a kind of adolescent restlessness, but the way of expressing it is too convulsive, and it is completely impossible to evaluate...

FLCL quotes

  • Haruko: It's Manhattan style, see? Little Prince Curry goes to New York. Mild, for kids.

Naota: Uaaahhh, it's spicy, I don't care if it goes to New York!

  • Amarao: That high school girl looked kinda sad. Seems like a little kindness might help, but you'd need some maturity to treat her that way.
