gentle as the title

(Watching notes for your own use, there are spoilers, be careful)

The ending of the film is neither up nor down. It seems that all the characters in it are looking for an answer to life and want a sure result, but in fact, in the end, this answer does not have a unique conclusion. All we know is that life goes on. It's a very gentle ending.

The characters are quietly changing in the interaction. After the male protagonist meets the female protagonist, because of her kindness and acceptance, everything seems to be bland, but the result is that the male protagonist actually quit drinking. Later, when the male protagonist's daughter came to ask the female protagonist why he was able to quit drinking, the female protagonist shook her head and said that she did not know the reason. However, all her states are telling the audience: it may be precisely because she is such a person.

Every character is in confusion, and what drives them forward is their inner subconscious: either longing for the ordinary or longing for destruction. No one doesn't want to be happy. His ex-wife worked hard for this, but in the end, she lost her cherished daughter. The more she pursued it, the more she went in the opposite direction. But the author did not criticize his ex-wife, but asked her to say: why? Why is all this happening to me? The answer is actually not certain.

The sleepless night in which the hero fell into his emotions was terrifying. However, he drove back and forth through the house many times, and finally returned home, which shows his real transformation and the preciousness of this home.

What can I use in this film?

1. Group portraits. The author revolves around the identity of the male protagonist and depicts several types of characters that may appear in his timeline. These characters each represent a value, and they will collide with each other. The answer is not given by the author, but everyone can have their own answer in their heart.

2. Don't be deliberately provocative. The hero's daughter died in a car accident, but from hearing the news to attending the funeral, he did not specifically portray his sad and crying expression. These are left to the readers to make up for themselves, but they have a different taste. This taste is life.

Do not push, tender mercy. The touch from God is silent as water, like being baptized. Every detail of this film is explained in this sentence.

Very solid script. Such stories may not be suitable for young people to read. Those who have experienced pain can better appreciate the softness of life and the hard-won tenderness and compassion.

To cherish ink like gold, it means nothing less.
