The story in the movie is true. A group of men from all walks of life go to various front lines to rescue and find these cultural relics in order to protect cultural heritage. It is indeed noble. But the content was empty. After reading it, I didn't remember how many people were in this team, which shows how unclear the story is. If you want to highlight them, at least when recruiting them into the army, you can be more detailed and let the audience remember them.
Besides, the treasure hunting process was just a mess. I didn't see how powerful they were. The first sacrifice was considered sturdy, but you know that the German army will come at night, so why let the priests open the door? It's not stupid. The second one is soy sauce, which can also be interpreted like this. War is actually so cruel and will kill you in unexpected places.
After finding the clues to the treasures, why didn't you scatter them to find them? You should even bring a troop. There were a few people each time, and they should go together. Well, give time to the Nazis to destroy those famous paintings and cultural relics.
The whole play was extremely boring. Even a possible sex scene was rejected by the male protagonist. It can also be said that it was a kind of loyalty and gentleman of the wife of that era. But it's really not good-looking.
