To give up the truth is to let yourself go

To be precise, this is a movie that makes me depressed. It connects me with a story about her that a close friend of mine told me not long ago.

My friend is a beautiful and kind-hearted girl. At the age of marriage, she doesn’t ask too much about her spouse. As long as the other person is of good character and self-motivated, it’s fine. Not long ago, a friend introduced and met a man, and the two of them called. By understanding the details of the man, he is definitely a diamond-studded bachelor five. He has a successful career and looks up to the next level. Isn't this the legendary Prince Charming? At first, Wang Laowu was very obedient to my friend, caring very much. Of course she was in love with someone of this level. When we girls were envious, my friend was always unhappy. As for the reason, At that time, we were also very puzzled, and she couldn't tell. . . It didn’t take long before we heard that she broke up with Wang Laowu. It was like this. My friend traveled frequently and went on a business trip again in those few days. When I went to the field, I always felt that Wang Laowu had something to hide from her. Tian was contradictory at first, because Wang Laowu was too perfect and had trouble sleeping and eating during the first few days in the field. In addition, a few friends took turns to tell her about the many vices of the wealthy people in society. She thought if she was suspicious every day Isn't it painful for a lifetime? So when he was cruel, he broke up! Since then, Wang Laowu has also disappeared, and my friends have even more doubted the character of that person, and have been sad for a while. After listening to it, I found it funny, but I also understood my friend's mood. I persuaded her, why do I have to figure out what others are doing? It's OK to be yourself! In fact, she was not suspicious of Wang Laowu, but suspicious of herself, her charm and lack of self-confidence.

Now let’s go back and talk about this film. This is a film that reflects human nature. When everyone is thinking about the old nun’s stupidity, or even worrying about her unreasonable selfish desires, I particularly understand her feelings; I will not naturally reason that the pastor’s character is bad due to the pastor’s resignation in the story, just like “everyone has his own purpose” in the film. In the eyes of others, the old nun as the principal is so self-confident, authoritarian, and arbitrary, taking advantage of her position of "under one person and above all people" to "rule" the school in a way that cannot be accepted by the people around her. , And in fact, this is precisely because of her suspicion---instead of doubting, it is better to tell yourself that the truth is what you see! Only in this matter, she seemed to be beginning to doubt her instincts, because that was a respected pastor. Whether in the eyes of children, colleagues, or followers, the pastor is so popular, and others love him far more than she. The old nun is benevolent and kind in her bones (you can tell that she is a kind person when she treats the elderly nun, but in a somewhat direct way). When she found a clue about the pastor’s bad style, she instinctively smoothed it out. She had all the obstacles to doubting her own judgment, and through the pastor's unnatural and non-rebellious reaction, she "assumed" that the truth of the matter was exactly what she thought, rather without any evidence! So, what she really suspected was herself! Deep down in her heart, she is extremely fragile---whether it is right or wrong, whether it will hurt others or not, she only does things that can make herself no longer doubt it! At last she cried. My understanding was that the pastor was promoted. She was so sure of her judgment before, and because of the bishop's affirmation of the pastor, she began to doubt her judgment. . . In the mind of the old nun, making a wrong judgment is far more entangled and twisted than the result of the matter, that is, whether to drive the pastor out of this school.

And is the truth of the matter like that? I think that there is a sequel to the movie, and I will give the old nun the answer she wants, or she will stay forever. . . I think what this film wants to tell us is: To be tolerant, to pursue the truth can only be painful to yourself, if you decide, don't doubt yourself anymore. This is what I want to say to my girlfriend. . .

Several main spatial structures are clearly made, the scene is arranged on the stage, and the two old dramas are very energetic, but the human struggle based on religion may be difficult for ordinary Chinese audiences to have a sense of substitution, and the whole drama does It is too regular but lacks some natural texture.
