Coincidentally, I just finished watching the tenth season of Friends this semester. Chandler and Monica said to 18-year-old Emma that you are now 2020, and I am now 2022 outside of film and television.
It's just that I can't sleep and watch it casually in the middle of the night. I have always been uninterested in things other than actors' acting skills outside of film and television. I feel that knowing the actors will affect my viewing experience. Unexpectedly, I finished watching it.
While inserting clips, the other side is the actor's memory, past and present, interpretation and reality, the similarity and strangeness of the actor and the role, and the wonderful experience of two-line connection. The familiar voice and tone, the face that has passed away in time, and even the re-investment are not as energetic as the previous interpretations. Seventeen years, twenty-seven years, time is an objective existence, and it is subjective and cruel when projected on an individual. The creator mentioned that it was not Jennifer who played Rachel in the first place. I thought about it, and it was hard to imagine what it would be like for them to switch roles. They make characters, but they are not characters, six or more people are already characters that exist independently of the creators. David and Jennifer actually had an affair, which is unexpected, and the scene where they hugged and kissed in the cafe probably did have a deep love that transcends skills.
Lisa talked about not wanting to have a sequel, not wanting to destroy their happiness, because there must be waves in the story, and it is not appropriate for her to play Phoebe's weirdness at her age, and she agrees. Joey's actor said something similar. As a viewer, I don't need a sequel either. At the end of the tenth season, leave some beauty and leave a pure land for reality.
There were many days of pain and struggle, but now there are a lot of nostalgic moments when I recall them, and I can't go back. The past is beautiful, and you never notice it when you are in it. I read Friends three times in high school and college, and the rest of the clips I watched are countless. When I get old, will the years of Friends and Friends be part of my memories and feelings of disappointment?
When watching iQIYI, it seems that some clips have been deleted. The reunion is indeed deliberate in some places, and the script is strong, but the overall viewing is quite emotional, especially the opening song.
