A daydream called a cowboy

The type of boy he likes, in fact, hasn't changed much over the years. A boy who likes cowboys, adventurous, independent, unruly, intoxicated, accustomed to relying on himself without boasting, speaks with actions instead of words, and walks into a wilderness, with long grass and wind, and quiet and unruly loneliness .

Most of the people who like it have a lone ranger personality. You can mingle with people, but you don't rely on interpersonal relationships to survive. You can have fun and run freely, but even if you run to the first place, you don't want to win over and control a group of people to follow you behind.

I once imagined that when I grew up, I would live like a cowboy in a deserted wilderness, with adventures, paths, unknowns, and vastness. He was unique, with freedom, wilderness, pioneering, and vastness. At that time, Hou liked watching martial arts, but did not like Jianghu. I like the pleasure of walking with swords, but I don't like gangs.

In ten years, life has changed from fantasy to reality. In the everyday world that has become solid step by step, I begin to know that I will not live according to my fantasy, and I begin to walk into the normal and full worldly life in the world of red dust. Although I am willing, I have not forgotten that fantasy. The picture of the wilderness turns into a spiritual image deep in the heart, into all status symbols that are far away from the crowd, drifting alone, and free. That kind of fantasies and pretentious young literary and artistic young people are very easy to be despised when they speak, but in the bottom of my heart, remember that if you see a clear illusion in front of your eyes, you will be able to obtain an unspeakable and extremely real spiritual power in your future life. .

Yesterday I went to watch "Australia". The second half of the movie started to procrastinate. The scenes of war, separation and reunion, chase of love are not much different from war love such as Pearl Harbor, Atonement, etc., but the first half made me tempted to watch it. It’s still the typical setting and characters of a western movie. You can see the old-fashioned story of the ending at a glance, but I still like it. Seeing the wilderness, seeing those galloping horses, seeing the cowboy smile, I still look like The little girl was just as excited. When a person grows up, she will not be easily moved, unless she sees something that brings her back to the age when she was a child.

I like the description of Faulkner's "When I'm Dying", like Hemingway's silent bootlegger, and the sense of wandering revealed in the works of various American writers and filmmakers in that era. That's my opinion The only nostalgic love in American culture. Over the years, American Westerns disappeared, and the scene changed to Australia. Many people say that Western movies are dead, just like saying that novels are dead, history is dead, and God is dead.

Remember a line: I am not affiliated with anyone, and I am not dismissed by anyone. The ultimate property of a person is the story.

I don't want to comment on the historical issues, because in fact this film has not reached the depth and weight needed to discuss history.

The whole film is not novel and profound, but I still gave it four stars. For the vast land that I just visited this year, and for all the love I have ever had.
