In fact, this film has no bright spots in terms of plot and visual effects. If you are not a fan of this game, then this film has at most three stars. I gave five stars because of the small details that pay homage to the game.
As a game fan , I love this movie I am very satisfied with the use of the camera lens in the film, and many of the camera movements in it are the performance of the game. The most obvious one is that the plane crashed into the hall and the zombies appeared. When the camera was pulled up, I saw that there was a strong urge to hold the handle.
Claire took it. A red and white umbrella to fight zombies is definitely a magic trick. Think about the 1, 2, 3 generations + rumors for the unbrella (it's a pity that the fourth generation of parasites did not have a guest)
The encounter between Leon and Claire It also copied the scene of the second generation, and it has been 10 years in a blink of an eye.
If you are a fan of the Resident Evil game, then this movie must be watched. It may not be well shot, but it will definitely bring you moving

This series has reached the point where I want to watch it anyway. . .

The plot is weakened, the CG effect is mediocre, and there is a sense of discomfort in playing games with PS1. There is a strong wind in the background music.

Resident Evil: Degeneration quotes

  • Claire Redfield: [Leon has just saved her from a zombie] Leon... what are you doing here?

Leon S. Kennedy: I could ask you the same thing.

    Claire Redfield: You're the one?

Senator Ron Davis: Is this it?

    Leon S. Kennedy: Yep.

    Senator Ron Davis: Reinforcements?

Leon S. Kennedy: None, we're getting out alone.

Senator Ron Davis: Is it too much to hope you at least have some sort of a plan?

Leon S. Kennedy: We're gonna run across the lobby.

Senator Ron Davis: Are you insane? The lobby is crawling with those creatures!

Leon S. Kennedy: It's also the widest area. It's too dangerous to take the long way around.

    Claire Redfield: He's right.

    [the Senator looks at her]

Claire Redfield: They aren't fast, we can get by them.

Senator Ron Davis: Oh yeah? And since when did the N.G.O member become such an authority on the subject!

Leon S. Kennedy: She's one of the rare survivors of Raccoon City. She has more experience with this kind of hellish nightmare than anyone else here.

Greg Glenn: [talking to Angela] Hey, Raccoon City, isn't that where the...?

    Angela Miller: Yes.

    [she looks at Claire]

  • Leon S. Kennedy: Try not to get killed.

    Claire Redfield: Okay, ditto.
