In the middle of the movie, I once thought it was a tragedy about comedy, and even suspected that it was Adam Sandler's autobiographical film, which was about the loneliness and loneliness of a comedian. But just because of that ending, that harmonious ending, makes a movie that can be called a classic become so mundane. This may be the compromise of the movie to business. So at the end of the day, it's still a comedy.
Sandler is credited with the magic of a two-and-a-half-hour movie that grabs your attention from start to finish. Sandler's previous "Bedside Story" was probably due to the consideration of the film's rating, and lacked his good meat jokes and obscene words and deeds, which made us Sandler fans very uncomfortable, it was just Sandler's body, There is no soul. And "Funny People" has a lot of dirty jokes. If you don't know enough English or lack of understanding of American culture, you may not find many jokes.

It's a bit different from Adam Sandler's crazy films in the past. The first half is even a little sad. Adam is getting fat again, and Seth is thin.
