Ten minutes into the movie, I came to a conclusion. The British style of the film, the logic of the characters, the plot, and the bells and whistles of the memory of Shi Tai's writings about Xibao are made. I also feel the typical British thinking inherited from the teacher in the film. One can even imagine the English-accented dialogue of the novel character's mouth.
It's hard to say that such an experience is a tragedy, although no one would be proud of it. You know, a girl who has this kind of experience has to be beautiful, learned, and more importantly, smart and wise, and have a little luck. As long as there is beauty without thought, dissatisfaction and resistance will not become a drama full of tension and contagion. If it is not beautiful, there is no possibility of even playing.
However, Xi Bao's story is more suitable for novels after all. If it is a movie, the strength of the civilians is just right. After all, the handwriting of buying and selling castles is still unimaginable to the public. What moved me was the purpose of education proposed by jenny under the developed education system. Is education a way? Raise some people into gentlemen and ladies to help them enter the upper class, or become a means of obtaining university teachers and government jobs? But what is the purpose of these? For an ideal lifestyle? This way of life has been acquired, so why continue to endure a boring education?
The problem faced by education is not between inspiring career achievements and persuading us to be peaceful, nor to keep us from making mistakes, but to help educated individuals find themselves and discover their inner self. Only by deeply understanding myself can I live my own life. This is also why jenny can quickly adjust her state after making mistakes and gain fulfillment and happiness through hard work. This ability to quickly find herself after being lost is the benefit of Jenny's long-term and careful education. If you are self-improved and your heart is full, even jenny's parents can change the atmosphere and live a self-sufficient and warm life.
