Director Wu's works rarely disappoint me

Director Wu's works, whether Chinese films or Hollywood productions, have almost never disappointed me. This is a film from 2003, and I must have seen many of them.
I personally think it's pretty good, a typical drama. Although many people have criticized some of the settings of this film, this is a movie after all, and the development of the story is getting more and more twists and turns, with some Chinese elements in the middle (shooting, kung fu, etc.), and it has the style of Wu's film. And the ending is very Hollywood, very good.
What I didn't understand was why the last black detective hid Mike's watch, and then I figured it out.
This film seems to be based on a best-selling novel, so the bug in the plot is not Director Wu's fault.

The plot is very compact, so enjoyable to watch! If there is such a machine that predicts the future, I want to buy a two-color ball!

The problem of casting is a big one. It's not that I despise Xiaoben, it's just that Sister Thurman has no sense of existence in it. Including John Woo, is also at odds with PKD's dystopian complex. The whole play is an extreme combination in awkward form. The two-faced villain loses, and Bond makes a cameo appearance.

  • Rachel Porter: I want to save the world.

Michael Jennings: I don't think I'm your guy. But would you settle for someone who wants to help you change it?

    Rachel Porter: Hmm, OK!

    Michael Jennings: Good.

  • Shorty: Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't leave me alone.

Michael Jennings: What? You'll be okay. Talk. Mingle.

    [leaves]

Shorty: [looks around] I don't want to mingle.
