We are all sick. . .

The sickness of Hollywood, basically all the patients are from the Hollywood circle, writers, actors, agents. I don't know if it's a self-deprecating movie.
Regarding the film itself, some people commented that it was a film with a sick and unhappy taste everywhere. Indeed, from the slow-paced Indie soundtrack to the constant illness of each character, it is a disease that can be revealed in the eyes, but betrayed in words and actions.
Just like the opening line of Dr. Cater's book, which the film keeps repeating, the feeling of happiness is always fleeting. Accompanying us, will eventually be a long period of pain and sorrow. This is a scientifically based assertion, not a simple comment. If I keep sighing and sighing, there will probably be people who will be disdainful. But I still want to say that if there is love in our hearts, we can heal our diseases.
I remember someone once said that in the new century, mental illness is a disease that is more threatening to human beings than cancer and AIDS. I believe it. Because people are becoming less and less themselves. Day after day, the conflict with the id in order to be who you are in the eyes of others becomes more and more intense. Pretending is not impossible. It just takes a lot of courage and great skill. We all hate liars, but we are all liars. If we don't pretend to be deceived, we are lunatics. If you want not to go crazy, you can only deceive perfectly.
So, in fact, you should learn to deceive in the name of love.
Because we are all sick. . .
