At least there hasn't been a better movie than this lately

I said, it's really not worth going to the movies recently, it should be true.
It was because I was really bored that I went to watch this movie. It wasn't as good or bad as I thought. At least the entire structure of the story is still complete. If it is regarded as a story of a police and bandit TV series, it is quite good.
Needless to say about the storyline, the only thing that makes me feel better is the whole plot design. Regardless of why Jonas himself is willing to kill, he just thinks that this killer is just another side of Ellen. It is also the other side of each person, and between this thought, the roles of devil and angel will be reversed. When Allen resents the betrayal of his friends, the cheating of his wife, and the loss of promotion opportunities. The devil was released from his heart. This devil was Jonas, and Jonas just killed according to Ellen's wishes.
Ellen plays the two-tiered role of the devil and the savior in this film. It was he who released the devil Jonas, when Jonas finished killing the first man. Alan realizes his mistake and tries to stop Jonas from killing the second guy on the list. However, the devil has come out, and you have to bear the consequences for the decisions you made at that time.
In fact, when Joe went to kill the third person, Allen had every chance to end Joe's actions. Only the third person killed was a gang leader, a loan shark to Allen. It was actually good for Ellen that this man died. When Alan pointed his gun at Joe, he should have known at this point that Joe was going to kill his friend and wife if he didn't shoot. He didn't shoot. We should blame Allen's weakness at this time, or see the coursing in his heart.
The fourth is Allen's friend, and Allen hates him because he's the one who fucks with Allen's wife. This man's death method was designed by Allen. I don't know if it was to condemn Joe's ruthlessness, or the
demon was released by Allen, and it must be ended by Allen himself. Rather than saying that Alan killed Joe, it is better to say that Alan killed the demon in his heart and saved himself.
If there is a flaw in the filming, the killer is not cold enough, the restraint is not tight enough, the atmosphere is not cool enough, and the conflict between the characters is not intense enough. A first-class script, paired with a second-class director, plus a few second-class actors. It's a second-rate movie.

The Hit List quotes

  • Detective Neil McKay: Now what the fuck is going on here, Campbell? You got ties to two of these vics and possibly a third. I got one dead cop and you at the scene waving a gun.

Allan Campbell: Look, I tried to tell you...

Detective Neil McKay: No, you told me a joke. Two guys walk into a bar. Fucking hilarious.

  • Allan Campbell: He had a family!

    Jonas Arbor: He still does.
