Actually, in real life, most of the time we don't know how to express our feelings. When I saw the end of my life, I remembered that there was still so much reluctance and unwillingness. No matter how you want to indulge yourself, no matter how you want to satisfy your desires, you will still choose to compromise when you see someone you care about hurting. Because the existence of an individual has been endowed with such and such meanings and such and such expectations by too many people from the moment of birth. We can't stop, we can't do anything about it.
If we say that the big C is another option that God gave us, an option other than A and B, will we give up the normal life between A and B because of the existence of C?
Sean can't, Cathy can't, and most of us probably don't either. And all we can do is do our best to add warmth to the people around us and the world.
Do-over is not to re-select an attitude, but to return to the original point, return to normality, return to between A and B. It is also a great courage.
