what i thought and understood

Coppolad's fame caused me to look forward to this film, not to mention the strong cast of Matt Damon and John Walter.
At the beginning of the film, I thought it was the same as any other inspirational, positive, justice-promoting film - silly and exciting. So, I began to feel disappointed, how could the famous director be so bland and vulgar.
In the face of such a plot, we have to think of Weibo. Although I applied for Weibo very early, it was only recently that I started to follow it quickly and a little crazy. Weibo not only allowed me to appreciate and appreciate the unimaginable beauty and creativity, but also allowed me to see outrageous things that have subverted my 22-year life concept. And these things are so endless, so many that it is dizzying, the world is suddenly dark, and it hurts people's skin like cinders are filled with cinders in the air.
All kinds of hateful organizations, individuals and this insurance company are like cockroaches, when will they be killed. Tragedy is about to become the norm. Too powerless! Before I knew the ending, I already felt very hopeless. I didn’t think the disappearance of species or evolution could make these drawbacks disappear or sublimate. These darkness will never be dispelled cleanly, and it seems that I can understand why some of them are.” Neurosis" wants to destroy. Yeah, there's no such thing when everything is destroyed, there's no hope if there's no despair, it's all quiet, isn't it?
I was surprised at how negative I was, I didn't expect it.
Thinking of this, the male protagonist was eloquently preaching to the jury... Suddenly, I thought of what the law is, the law is a kind of rule, and according to my unsound logic, the rules were created, and they should be followed. Law is a means of protection and a means of fighting back. Although the universe will eventually shrink to a point of unknown size, and everything will eventually turn into nothingness, but instead of destroying the old history and preventing the creation of a new history, it is better to write this history richer and more meaningful. Expanding objects are always smooth and compact, while shrinking objects are always rough and loose. Creating more new miracles should be worth more than wiping out more old scandals.
Finally, due to the inertia and shamelessness of the rich, no one gets the money they deserve, which seems to be incomplete, which is indeed the most realistic portrayal of reality. Also, the most serious sublimation of this film.

PS: I like "Weakness" very much, because it is a rare modern fairy tale, and it is a real fairy tale, so inspiring. The story of "Rain Maker" may never have happened in reality, but in fact, this story has been expressed in various forms many times, and it is by each of us.

The Rainmaker quotes

  • J. Lyman 'Bruiser' Stone: Congratulations on... what the hell is that?

    Deck Shiffler: Iced tea.

  • [last lines]

Rudy Baylor: Every lawyer, at least once in every case, feels himself crossing a line that he doesn't really mean to cross. It just happens, and if you cross it enough times it disappears forever. And then you're nothing but another lawyer joke, just another shark in the dirty water.
